makinorlando, you take some great photos :thumbsup2

Thank you. It's rather a new hobby - I have loved to take photos for ever, but more recently have gotten into it much more for content, unique perspectives, etc. Still need to work on nightitme photography, but that will be helped some when I invest in a DSLR!

It helps having WDW in my "backyard". I itching to get out for some nature shots though - I need to find some good areas that I won't be eaten alive by bugs or gators!!!!

Keep this hobby up coz I know when I get back from WDW, I'll be able to happy up with my own photos and YOURS too :rotfl:

The pictures are great! What kind of camera are you using? Were Snow White and all the dwarves out this year? We are going on the 10th and I can't wait! :thumbsup2

I have a Canon S2-IS.

I have heard they were around - we personally did not see them on Friday. I had satisfied my quest for the group during Characters in Bloom weekend!!! Now I need to find them individually - one (Dopey) down and six more to go!!!!

Thanks for posting these awesome pictures! We're leaving in two days and will be going to MNSSHP on our last night there - seeing your pictures has me so excited I can hardly stand it!!

Thanks!

Thanks!

You are very welcome. Have a wonderful trip!

I'm glad you and your DD had a good time! Your pictures are great.

I noticed you had pics of some of the MNSSHP merchandise - did they have a lot just for the party (other than the pin and shirts)? Also, where was the store in which you took your pics?

What/when is Characters in Bloom? I've never heard of that!

If I had to guess the things I took photos of are general merchandise - not just party stuff. I only for sure know of the pins (purchased at the Exposition Building) and the T-shirts.

I took those photos in the store new Haunted Mansion - it is full of costumes and Halloween stuff right now.

Characters in Bloom is a weekend (3rd weekend I think) in May during the Flower & Garden Festival that has some special character stuff. I didn't get there for too much of the weekend - only a couple hours on Saturday in search of the dwarves! Folks that were able to spend more time in the park during that weekend did find some rare and unusual characters.

I would also like to know if it was busy and about waht time does it get dark these days in WDW? I see you have pictures in broad daylight and I don't have a highly sophisticated camera so...I want to take advantage of daylight as much as possible.

Thanks for sharing the pics, it was interesting to look at the crowds & see how many adults were dressed up! I did spot the tin man & Dorothy :)

There was a whole group of Oz - Dorothy, Tin Man, Lion, Munchkin - can't remember if there was a scarecrow. We saw them getting their photo taken at the Mickey Ghost at the front of the park.

Saw a family with the mom and dad as Cinderella & Prince Charming and the kids were Power Rangers.

Another family were all in Disney - Dad was Aladdin and off the top of my head I can't remember the others, but there was mom and three (at least kids).

We got there early - so many of the photos were taken prior to the party - dusk was about 7:30.

It's funny - I live here and I really don't pay attention to the time it gets dark now!

Didn't even notice the crane -

Here is the castle when we arrived around 4:30. Funny - I forgot what it looked like without the "bling" and totally forgot there was clock over the entrance!

Great shot and thank you again! :thumbsup2

Great pics, thanks for sharing as I love to look at all the pics, but makes me wish I was going this year instead of next, or I mean going this year also! :lmao:
