We are planning our 1st trip to WDW this FAll and would like to do MNSSHP on a Friday-- it is the 1st week in September it is offered so I don't believe it will be as crowded as it would be on Fridays in October. I have heard Fridays are more busy than Tuesday parties, which is fine with me. We really want to do the party on a Friday night just due to our schedule, etc. It's also our last night at WDW and would like to celebrate on a Friday :) I'm not terribly concerned about riding a ton of rides--really just want to enjoy walking around and seeing the different costumes/decorations. Am I making a mistake going on a Friday. I know it will be more crowded than on a Tuesday and that I am totally okay with that…but how much more crowded is the question? It works a lot better with our schedule to do it on a Friday, b/c then we can experience another park that morning w/out having to buy a park hopper. Thanks!

Fri. would, in my opinion, be lot more crowded than Tue...
just using your logic of it being so much earlier in the season.

We have been in Sept the last three years, and done MNSSHP each year. I've done a variety of different parties, and a few in Oct.

Sept parties are less crowded than Oct

Tues are less crowded (by a little bit) than Fridays.

This past year I lucked out on going to MNSSHP on Fri the 13th when they were doing unleash the villains and the party was as dead as ever!

It's all up to you, if you're wanting do to the halloween stuff, then just arrive at 4pm with your party ticket, ride some rides or meet some characters who are out all day, and then right at 7 start doing party stuff, you should be more than fine.

Main street & the hub will be crowded no matter what time of year you go, between the parade, fireworks, & villians show it stays decently crowded through the night, doesn't really matter what day of the week it is.

I'd say stick with how you have it best in your schedule and just put on your happy hats and have fun!! :thumbsup2
