MNSSHP OK for adults?

DH and I will be going to disney Sept 23-Oct 1. We were thinking about getting tickest for MNSSHP. My Question is, It's just the two of us. Is it more child oriented, or will there be things that DH and I will enjoy. I guess my real question is, is it worth it for us?

i asked this question a while back-- it is just DH and I we have no kids.

people on the board are telling me it is alot of fun even for adults. so i took a chance a ordered my tix-- i cant see not having fun -- your in Disney!

You will have a great time! Plenty of adults go to this with no kids. If you enjoy the MK you will have fun with this. Great parade and awesome fireworks plus the MK decked out for Halloween.
Order the tickets you will be glad you did...

You should go. Its a lot of fun. We've always gone with the kids but if you like Disney there is lots for adults. Don't forget to dress up too!

We went last year (while on our honeymoon) -- it was the best! We watched the parade twice, because we couldn't stop dancing to that SONG!!!

It's really worth it.

I went last year with a few friends (ages 25-28) and we had a blast. The only stipulation is that you've got to be prepared to be silly. Originally we weren't even going to get candy, but the temptation proved too great and we did anyway. Pretty soon we were racing to the next Goofy's Candy Company ballon and laughing the whole time. It was great and we're totally going to do it again.

We went last year. There were 4 adults, all in our 50's. We had a great time. We try never to miss a party. The parade and fireworks are great.

The first time my DH and I went was long before we had our daughter! We felt like kids again...adults get to "trick-or-treat" even if they don't have kids...we got tons of great candy. The parade is great, as are the fireworks, and you can't beat the small lines. If you love Halloween, you'll have a blast!

I think it is awesome and my first visit was last year when I was 17. My family is going again this year and the youngest, my sister is 16. I think that there are plenty of things for adults to do, especially if you like meeting characters. Have fun!!

DISBeth - DH and I are in our 40's and going the same time as you - but for 8 days. We are with NO kids and planning on doing MNSSHP on 9/29. I haven't trick-or-treated in years and I am looking forward to it!!!

one of my friends from college and i went last year and had a great time!! we wore birthday tiaras we had gotten earlier in the week from a character meal and had shirts we made for the halloween party..everywhere we went, people were calling us princess and we g ot a TON of candy...Ended up giving most of it to a family sitting next to us at the parade.....were trying to figure out a way to do it again!

Somewhere, maybe even on this board, I remember reading that adults aren't allowed into the parks in costume on Halloween. Is this true? Seems like it can't be since so many adults are talking about dressing up for MNSSHP. Or are adults only allowed to be in costume for this particular event, and not (for example) any time on Halloween day? Just wondering because I was surprised when I read that adults are not allowed into the parks in costume.

We went 2yrs ago (dh and I - no kids) and we had fun. I admit to feeling a bit embarrassed trick or treating, but I got over it. I particularly loved the Halloween quartet on the ferry boat. Fantastic. We're going again this year and won't waste time feeling embarrassed! Have fun!!
