MNSSHP October 5th Thursday--Are you going??

We went to MVMCP last year, & I gotta' say I liked MNSSHP more! Although, the free cocoa & cookie combo was pretty sweet. :cloud9: Can we have free cookies & cocoa at MNSSHP instead of candy? :rotfl: mmmmmm cocoa

RCRAW: WOW you're pics are GREAT!! I cant seem to get my nightime pics that bright! You're flash must be huge! Thanks for those inspiring pics..cant wait! :cool1:

Thanks for the compliments but I gotta say, those pictures were taken with our old Sony digital, the Cybershot 4.0. I think Jeff turned the flash off for the fireworks shots. Otherwise I think it was standard settings. Can't wait to see the ones with our new 6.0 megapixal!

AWESOME pictures, thanks for posting--now I am even more excited!!! I'll be there on 10/5!

Wow, Michelle, you're in the single digits now! Hoping for great weather...............

Those are fantastic pictures! Nice composition, too.

I'm stoked because my DGF just got a Canon Rebel. Our pictures of MNSSHP from last year were kinda pathetic - all really dark. But this year they're going to be sweet!

i have al me Kodak digi cam, and our pics we're alright. i don't htink i could work any fancier camera! haha!

We have a Kodak Easy share DX7590. It takes great pics....when I can figure out how to work it. :rolleyes1

Well, I was thinking about leaving the digi rebel at home & taking our older camera....sometimes I just hate lugging it around....but now after looking at the pics & remembering the great pics I got last year..............

never mind!

It's coming with me

yippeee I can't wait

it's funny, these little Sony's are pocket sized but have as many options as my old. non-digital Canon Rebel. I'm a lot more impressed with them than I thought that I would be. The best part is that they fit in a pocket (read, DH's ;)) and I don't have to lug them, or the camera bag with all the accessories around with me. I'm just really happy that they are reachargeable, we have family members that didn't spend the extra $$ for the ones that recharge, seems like they areforever having to stop for batteries. Not good. Here's a pic we took with the "old" 4.0 mp at Osborne lights last year:

again, no flash, standard settings

ok, now I"m intrigued....I "could" buy a new camera before we go...how much do they run?????

We bought our "new" Sony, the 6.0 mp for ~$250 at Best Buy. Then we added a 512 MemoryStickPro flash card for <$50. Here's a picture taken with it, the tower "ghosts" taken with no flash

this was also taken with it, again standard settings

it's the DSC-W50, still $249 at Best Buy. It has the non fixed lens, so you get two types of zoom.

I just like seeing the adorable Shih-Tzu in the siggy! :goodvibes It looks just like the Shih-Tzu that my mom used to have.

I bet your Mom's wasn't as bad as this one. He is thoroughly rotten, knows (not thinks ;) ) he's human!

We'll be there on the 5th

We'll be another band of pirates.

DH is a fancy pirate in a long blue coat
me: Elizabeth Swann pirate outfit.
DS4: Jack Sparrow
DS1: old b/w stiped Gymboree pirate shirt and red shorts (keeping the baby cool)

I also splurged and bought tickets for the next night too yesterday..hee hee. We probably won;t do our costumes but DS 4 will be the Green Ranger that night and DS1 may wear Incredibles t-shirt.

I'll see if I can spy anyone. We'll have a lime green Micket head tags on our stoller handles.

Ooh! I'm almost done with DD's & DNiece's costumes :
Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dummer!
DNephew will be The Mad Hatter
Me and Ed are Pirates
and my SIL will be a Tacky Tourist!

Oh, man, it's just too magical and I can't believe it's finally upon us.
I think I am numb. I really do.
MNSSHP was One of the Most Magical Times of my LIFE!
I feel it is the Epitome of Disney
and I can't wait to Get Back Home!!
:woohoo:
Still doin' the DIS meet, right?
