Hey there- I went to Not-So-Scary last night and had a great time! I did the free facepainting for the first time. In the past, I always had a costume that the make-up wouldn't go with. but this year I was a fairy, and they had a perfect face for it! The colors matched my costume just right. I was supposed to be one of the new Disney Fairies, Prilla, but no one seemed to recognize her. I picked a good day to go. The crowds were definately lighter than the last few times I went. We hit all the candy spots. I really hit paydirt too. I had my birthday button on, and at one station they loaded 3 huge handfuls of candy into my bag. I'm never going to finish all this!

Here's a pic...

I recognized your costume right away! Very pretty face paint too. Glad you had fun. :goodvibes

I think we waited maybe 10 or 15 minutes. They are amazingly fast. I closed my eyes for a moment and then suddenly she said, "ok Tinker Bell, take a look."

Who else was there on the 19th and did you see me? :)

FYI... the face painters will do almost anything, not just the examples that are posted. My dh had his face painted as tin man, and fil had his painted as scarecrow. Both were fantastic. :thumbsup2 And the guy in front of them had a ghoul face done for him and it was really good too.

We were there on the 19th but didn't see you AngieBelle. I wish we had, my kids love the Disney Fairies books and probably would have recognized your costume.

My dd also had a birthday button on (this trip was to celebrate her 10th) and got loaded up with candy - but not too much more than her little brother.

We didn't get to see the parade :sad1: those darn kids and dh kept wanting to go on rides. And ride ride ride we did - with hardly any waits, as you said.

We watched Hallowishes from behind the castle and enjoyed the elbow room.

We'd purposely had a late lunch in anticipation of long lines at the CS that evening - but we went into Cosmic Rays right around 7 and the lines were not bad at all. I did see one CM telling a woman without a wristband that she could not come in. ::yes::

All in all, it was a fantastic night. :goodvibes
