I am so excited! I usually stay away from MNSSHP in Oct. due to crowds but now that they are offering it during my trip (Sept. 15) I get to experience the fun. What time can we get into MK with the MNSSHP ticket? I have read some conflicting info. Do we need an ADR to get into the park before 7pm or can we go anytime we please? If we need an ADR, we were thinking of Crystal Palace for late lunch since we aren't sold on the LTT character meal. I would also appreciate any tips since I don't want to miss anything. It will be myself and my boyfriend, no kids but massive kids at heart. TIA! :teeth:

You should be able to get into the park with your MNSSHP ticket after 4pm. Unless Disney has changed this policy, we have gotten in at a little past 4.

YOu do not have to have an ADR to get in early. However, if you want to eat at Crystal Palace I would suggest that you make your ADR today.

If you wear a costume, make sure that it does not drag on the ground.

Best advise though is do not eat all of the candy you pick up trick or treating the next day.

Have fun :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I love MNSSHP... been in 2002, 2003 and 2005

I would not miss out on the parade and fireworks. Enjoy the candy... so much fun... Enjoy the park and the halloween things, check out the special events (hand palm readers, spooky story telling, etc)

Rides can be done on any other day... however I would never go to MNSSHP without a ride on the haunted Mansion..

enjoy

You will love it!

You can get in @ 4pm - with or without ADR

Take the morning off...do not go to another park in the AM and save your energy to stay until midnite, sleep in, swim at the hotel whatever, just don't peak too soon!

We had an ADR @LTT last year @5:20 and we felt rushed, there were alot of people waiting and the kids (8,6,2) we just too excited to sit and eat...but it was an experience, goofy, minnie, chip and dale, pluto all dressed up in halloween costumes coming and posing at your table was pretty awesome...

best tip I have ever had was read right here last year...I'm almost afraid to spill the beans...but I will...at 6:45 we made our way to toontown...and we were first in line to see Mickey! with no one else around...our 2 year old went running up to Mickey, arms wide open (she was dressed in her mickey costume) and gave him a big hug right when he came out...something we will never forget!

got lots more tips if you want them!! so many tips so little time!!

Have fun, we will! pirate:

keep in mind that they will not let you enter the park - period - if you are wearing a costume before 4pm

That said, wear comfy shoes, dress in cool clothes, and don't forget to get an orange trick or treat bag :) Adults, too!

we went in 2004 and had a blast. I hope to do the party again. we had an adr at crt for around 5. when we got out we headed to haunted mansion. We were the only ones on the ride. so fun and spooky. dont miss the fortune tellers. Mine was right on. Also dont miss the Headless horeseman or the fireworks. They were so much fun. have fun.

p.s. as far as costumes go. Be sure to dress light. It was rather warm when we went in oct.

Quick question, Does the headless horseman ride before both parades???

I'm pretty sure he runs before both parades (however I do remember reading somewhere as well where someone had mentioned he ran only during the first parade)....however when we were there last year (Oct. 27th, if I recall the date correctly) we saw him run before the 10pm parade...so for that nite at the very least he ran twice.

But he only runs if its nice and dry...if there has been any showers whatsoever he's a no go...

Make sure you are in the front of the castle during the fireworks or you will miss the show. There is a stage show with the villains & the witch flies out of the caslte instead of tinkerbell. I was stuck behind a rope behind the castle, once the fireworks begin they will not let you pass due to falling debree, so i got to hear the show on the speakers but missed the action. The fireworks can be viewed from all around the castle but you will just miss the show. Also we ate at Liberty Tree Tavern, we have a 5:15 ressie this year also for the halloween party...

I was hoping to get there before 4:00 because I have a park ticket to use in addition to our MNSSHP tickets. My kids would be wearing their costumes. I don't get this rule. Lots of little girls wear princess gowns to the MK every day for CRT. My dd would blend in with those girls. :confused3

I'll have to re-think our arrival time, or we'd have to change at the park which I'd rather not do.

Please let us know what time you were allowed to enter the park for the Halloween Party thanks

This will be our very first MNSSHP as well. We will be there 10/2 !!
