MNSSHP & MVMCP Tickets - On Sale When?

In years past, the tickets for both MNSSHP and MVMCP usually went on sale on May 1st, and was wondering if it was going to stay true to form this year, especially with the madhouse the potential new promo might cause with people calling in about their reservations, etc.

I spoke with a CM today who said the Halloween party tickets should be out very soon, but the Christmas party tickets wouldn't be out until around July.

They usually always start selling both parties on the same day. Wonder why that would be different this year.

I was also surprised. I was trying to get MVMCP tickets, and when she said late summer I was shocked. I know the last time we got them, I bought them much earlier than that.

That is really surprising and disappointing if true. I was ready to get my MVMCP tickets now, especially as we are doing dining plan reservations in 2 weeks, so I was hoping to have everything done by Mid May

Disney needs to realize that people plan dining around special events. For instance my dining booking opened in April 24th. We will be there for F&W and be doing mnsshp. I think those events dates and special events should be released before the dining window opens.

The rumor is FD for Disney Visa holders will be released tomorrow, for the general public next week.

Same here! I also need to get tickets to MVMCP for Nov. 7th and was hoping to purchase them both at the sametime.

Ugh. I wish they'd get it together. I even told her the tickets normally came out the same time, and I'd heard it was to be this week. She said she would double-check for me, and came back after a minute saying specifically "late July". I knew that sounded wrong.

Sell outs usually occur closer to the actual times, as that is what happened in 2012. We did the opening MVMCP and it sold out about a week or so before we traveled down to WDW

I've called several times on the tickets for MVMCP. EVERY CM I have spoken with said to "check back in September" Seriously??! According to what I have read today, the speculation is tomorrow. If that is correct, what time can you start purchasing them?

Just looking at Disney website and seems tickets are now available to purchase for Harambe Nights, Night of Joy, MNSSHP, and MVMCP.
