MNSSHP & MVMCP photos - best time & place?

We're going to MVMCP for the first time this December. I was wondering what people are finding at MNSSHP in terms of good times (go early, wait til later, etc?) and less crowded locations for the group pictures at MNSSHP. Or what people remember from past years about good timing for pictures at MVMCP. Any feedback is appreciated.

For the MNSSHP photo, I tried to go to the Hall of Presidents location since we'd just finished dinner at LTT around 6PM. However, that location wasn't open yet. The only one that was open at that time was location in Tomorrowland and there were quite a few people in line. I ended up getting my picture after the first parade at the first location... didn't have to wait at all

Last MVMCP, I got my photo done around 7PM after I entered the park. I went to the location at IASW and waited about 5 minutes. This location wasn't available at MNSSHP.

Last year, we went during the first parade to get our phots done. We went to the building in Adventureland. We had absolutely no wait. This was also a great time to go on rides since it seemed like everyone was watching the parade. We just waited for the second parade and were able to get seats like 15 minutes before it started.

While everyone was waiting in Tommorowland for the party to start we walked around to fantasyland early and walked straight over to It's a Small World and had our pictures done. We were the first ones there and had no wait. We were also on the first haunted riverboat ride and there was hardly anyone on the boat. They had several rides open in Fantasyland early.

At our first MVMCP we were suprised at how "uninspired" the backdrop was for the picture. Quite frankly it is something that we wait until we walk by any station with no wait, and jump in and do it. I would wait for cookies but not the picture.

Judy, I'm more of a wait for cookies type of person, too, but I am the family photographer so I don't end up in too many photos with the family -- and I'm a scrapbooker, too -- so I am willing to wait for a group shot *If I have to* but I'd rather time it better, if possible.
