MNSSHP in the rain?

So how many of my fellow Dissers have been to MNSSHP in the rain? I am wondering if I want to buy tickets for Sept 16th now and save the $20 or wait until we arrive at WDW to see the weather forcast, not sure if we would enjoy the whole thing if it is raining.

Please tell me your thoughts and experiences?

September 16th will almost certainly not sell out. I'd wait until a day or two before and then make the call. I believe you can still save the money as long as you don't buy the day of the event.

this! That is what we will be doing for the 23rd. We have been to MNSSHP in the rain, the show goes on and the events that can take place in pour downs are just cancelled. The year we were there in the rain (either 05 or 06) the Villians and Vogue first 2-3 shows were cancelled and the headless horseman didn't come out for hte first parade but it stopped raining about 8pm and cleared up. The rest of the shows took place that night and the headless horseman rode for the 2nd parade.

Yes, I agree. We are going last week of September and there are two showings. We will decide which one we go to based on the forecase while we are there and just buy the tickets the day before. Still get the advance savings!

I heard the 16th was already sold out...glad I bought my tickets early....You should look at other dates.....

Thats alright I really didn't plan on paying anyway I was just going to look for somebody else who had there bands on and borrow theirs By the way what are you dressing up as, maybe I can use yours? lol

Thanks everybody for your input I didn't realize I could buy the tickets there the day before and still get the discount.
