MNSSHP end of September - how busy?

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how busy mnsshp normally is at the end of September. We're looking at possibly going on Thursday the 29th. We've only been once which was early September in 2012 and it was really quiet.
This trip we'll be staying at universal so this would be our only time to come into the magic Kingdom so we want to make it a worthwhile visit and try and get round as many attractions as possible.

No help from me because this will be our first party visit but I'd love to hear the answer to this too! DH and I are taking a short anniversary trip that week (first trip without kids ever ) and we're jamming in a lot, including MNSSHP on 9/29. Hoping it's not too, too crazy that night so we can accomplish a lot.

I am going that night too! I imagine it will be really busy. I think they pretty much all are now days. Gonna have fun no matter what

Been doing 2 parties a week, end of Sept (minus one year I went earlier) for a decade.....

- Parties have gotten more and more crowded over the years aka more sell out signs out front.
- While we used to find the weeknights less crowded, it doesn't seem to matter much anymore.
- If a party is "empty" it seems more lucky than anything.
- With the new pricing structure I expect Sept dates to be more crowded/sellouts since locals will op earlier for savings.
- New pricing likely to be the biggest impact so no way to know for sure.

Show up by 3:30 at the MK to get through security and be ready to enter as soon as they open the gates.
If attractions are your focus, then you will probably be okay especially during parade and fireworks. Have fun!!
