MNSSHP Early Entry...CONFIRMED!

I read a rumor that DVC Members would be allowed access to the MK at 2PM (instead of 4PM) on party nights this year. This was important to me because we have 5-day park tickets for our 7-day trip. My girls are 13 and 15 so they are not too interested in spending a lot of time in the MK so we were going to use the party as our MK day. They complicated things by putting dinner at BOG on their "must-do" list and the only ADR I could get was at 6pm. We can still enjoy a lot of the party offerings, but we will have to limit our selections of MK attractions.

I decided to do the online chat with MS today and see if they had any information about this rumor. I chatted with Marcelo and he CONFIRMED that the rumor is A FACT. He said that DVC Members will only need to show their Member ID card (he did not specify any difference between resale/direct) and you can get in to the party at 2pm with just a party ticket.

Woo hoo!! That gives us almost 3 full hours before dinner to do MK attractions without worrying about missing out on party-specific events.

I wouldn't count on it without an official announcement, because without it, you're assuming gate personnel have the equipment set up and training to know about it.

This would be fantastic!!! But yes, an official announcement would be great! Let's see if something comes down the pike from DVC in the next few weeks as the first Halloween party takes place in about 3 weeks or so.

It doesn’t make sense to me, either. Since Disney didn’t officially announce the 4 PM entry, hopefully a non DVC owner will confirm this by trying to enter at 2 during the first couple of MNSSHP in August.

And that makes it official/confirmed? Just asking. I'm not DVC or AP, just a MNSSHP itinerary planner. Is this for every party or during a select time frame and for the entire group or only those who are DVC members?

I was curious about this so I asked DVC about this as well and was told that with your DVC member ID card and your Halloween party ticket you could get into the MK at 2:00...

So if other members of your family are not DVC they could not get in at 2pm? Is this for every party date?
