MNSSHP discount tix for others

Hello
I understand that there have been discount tickets available for members in the past. Can I get tickets for the friends I am travelling with, or just for myself? Do we all have to enter the party at the same time, if so?

In prior years they've allowed at least 6 discounted tickets to be purchased. The member needs to be the one to pick up the tickets from guest relations as you need to show your membership card to verify you are eligible for the discount.

So, I could give the tickets to those who are going to the party right away and they can enter without me?

The member discounted special event tickets are advance purchase only and must be picked up at WDW.

You buy them in advance but you don't have to wait until the night of the party to pick up the tickets. You can get them from your resort, from the concierge desk in the lobby, then you can distribute the tickets to the members of your party. I usually get mine the day I check in then I've got them and don't have to think about it again.

I've ordered them in advance from a link on the DVC member site and had them mailed to me.
