We are Disneymooning in WDW in October this year, and will be there Oct. 25th-31st. I've been several times but my fiancee has only been once, when he was 5 - about 20 years ago!

We're debating going to a party but wondered how crowded they are that week... I've been to a few parties earlier in October and loved them, but are the crowds really bad the actual week of? We'd probably try to go to the Tuesday party (the 27th), assuming Disney keeps the same party-day schedules as the past.

TIA!

They typically sell out. That generally means low wait times for most park attractions--with HM a notable exception--but high ones for Halloween-related events and a crowded Main Street and Hub.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the whole week would sell out or just the Thursday-Friday-Saturday. We aren't interested in meeting the characters or trick-or-treating so that's not an issue for us. We just wanted some extra MK time since it's a short trip, but didn't want to spend extra money to be fighting wall-to-wall crowds. :thumbsup2

People who have been during that week, did you still feel it was worth it?

I'm not sure if it will help but i wrote a trip report when i went this halloween:

it was extremely crowded on halloween and sold out, so it felt no different then a normal park day.

Also if you do go and choose to do villain's soiree, if its still going, choose the later one otherwise you lose out on a lot of mnsshp fun.
