SamRoc said:We went on October 7th for an all girls weekend, there were 6 of us, and had a great time and are going back this year. I plan on being the "Redhead" from Pirates of the Caribbean (but I need to get a good picture of her to make the costume) and my dd is not sure what she wants to be yet (she was the Corpse Bride this past MNSSHP) I love Halloween, its my favorite holiday. This year my dh and ds will be going to the party with us but I don't know if I can get them into costumes!
We have been planning since the night of our last visit. BUT RUMOR HAS IT>>>that adult guests in "Disney character costumes" will have a LARGE sticker stuck to their chest to let everyone know they are not a CM. We are horrified by this. I hope you will all join me in contacting Disney to not do this. I suggest that they give the costumed CM's a matching item, like a mask or hat of specific color so they can be recognized. Basically posting a "scarlet letter" on the guests isn't really very nice and I spent a lot on my costume last year and wouldn't have wanted it to be ruined. If I had arrived at the park and this had happened, I probably would have had a big argument with a CM to get a refund.
