My DH and I will be at Disney for just a couple of days around Halloween. We have never been to the Halloween Party and would love to attend on Halloween Night.

Is this a crazy terrible time to attend our first one?

We think it would be SO much fun to do it that night but were wondering about crowd levels and the general feel for the event on that particular night. Our other options would be Oct 29 (we wouldn't be able to get there until at least 7) or Nov 1 (will it still feel like Halloween?). But something about going on the actual Halloween night seems super awesome.

What do you guys think?

Do it!! Yes, it will be busy but still not as crowded as a normal day at Magic Kingdom. They will sell out, however, so if you are sure you want to go on 10/31, be sure to purchase tix soon.

It will no question be sold out. But, even if you pick another night, you can't guarantee that it won't be sold out. We have never been on Halloween night, but we have been to several sold out MNSSHP and MVMCP and have had a blast. Sure, it is better crowd and line wise if it is not sold out, but it is still a ton of fun even if sold out. I think in the time that you are there with it being so close to Halloween, that all those parties are likely to sell out. So, I would pick Halloween too. If you are going to do that, I would buy the tickets soon because that night sells out really early. I wouldn't do it on October 29, if you can't get there until 7. Even though the party officially starts then, at least in the last couple of years with party wristbands, there were party related things you could do before then. The last couple of years, by that time we have usually already bought our party merchandise, got a Sorcerer's card; seen Jack and Sally (who have been coming out at 6 or sometimes earlier for the last couple of years) and gotten in line for another popular character/character such as the Dwarfs.

It will sell out and it will be crowded but not as bad as a normal day in MK... plus, I can't think of a better way to spend Halloween at Disney!

We went last year on Halloween and had a blast. It was sold out and packed. Even tho it was sold out, we never waited more than 10 -15 min for a ride. ( 7 Dwarfs and haunted mansion were the only long waits). If you want character photos get in line early. Check out the dance party (we danced with monster inc for a while!!)You'll have a great time!!!

I have been on Halloween night several times and it is amazing! Crowded for the character lines, parades and fireworks, but not as bad as July 4th. The atmosphere is electric that night. I plan to be there again this year.

My wife and I went on Halloween night in 2015. It was busy but no more than any other busy day at MK. Felt less busy than when we went in July on a weekend.

We are headed again this year on Halloween. It's a blast if you ask me.

FOLLOW UP - Does Nov 1 also sell out, or are people done with it by then?

Hard to say what will happen. 11/1 is a Wednesday this year. I tend to think that'd probably but a fun, odd, day to go. But you're going to get some carry over folks who opt not to go on real Halloween. I'd go for it!

We are doing our first mnsshp on Halloween night this year! I'm preparing myself for a bit of craziness but we all love the holiday so much and figure it's got to be one of the best places to celebrate. Have fun!!!
