Can they both be done in one trip? When would the last MNSSHP happen ? When will the first MVMCP happen?

We are going with some friends and they want to do Halloween and we want to do Christmas!

When do the osbourne family lights usually start?

TIA!!!

This year the last MNSSHP was on Halloween, although typically they have one on November 1 (I would assume the reason they didn't this year was because the 1st was on Saturday, and they typically don't have them on Saturday, although I would assume that they will this year). The first MVMCP was on November 7, which was also the first date for the Osborne Lights. That does seem to be the norm, so you would have to stay until 2 days after the first MVMCP in order to do both that and the Osborne Lights. (Based on last year's dates, I would expect both to start on November 6.)

Awesome! thank you for the quick response! I'm thinking we may be successful if we stay oct 30th-nov 8th!

Thanks for the info - we are thinking of doing the same. Originally just planned for MNSSHP but it would be awesome to fit both in!

I did mnshhp and mvmcp in same week this year and it was possible, though both were sold out so it was quite busy.

those who did both on one trip, did you have any problems with missing some of the Christmas stuff. Mainly Cp, Epcot stories, the big tree in MK, and the resort decorations. Did it still feel like a Christmas trip?
We are going back and forth, both would be so cool but we are worried we'd lose the Christmas feeling not being there later nov/ early dec.
Any help in how you made the choice?

I did both last year and it wasnt so much that you'd miss everything cause of doing both it was that there just wasnt time in the night of a sold out mvmcp to do everything they had planned event wise due to crowds and not much leeway between events.

We had the same idea of doing both parties this year but I also worried about the same thing.
On our trip in November 2013 we did miss the Epcot story tellers and resort decorations and it did make a difference on our trip( we missed some of the magic of Christmas).

so we have decided to go in early December when all of the Christmas decorations and festivities will be in full swing.

I'm booked roughly the same time! 10/31 to 11/9. I was banking on 10/31 for MNSSHP but I do like hearing there may be a possibility of 11/1. Still hoping for Halloween though!

We did it this year! We did MNSSHP on October 23 and MVMCP on November 10. We didn't want to go to the first MVMCP because it was on a Friday and probably going to be busier than our Monday night.

Yes, we were sad to leave and miss the Christmas stuff, but we did mid Nov to mid December the year before, lol. We wanted to do the Food and Wine and Halloween this year before our APs expired, so we did Nov/Dec in 2013, then May/June and Oct/Nov in 2014.

Our family personally like the Christmas stuff more than the Halloween....there is just more. This year we're doing May/June (Star Wars), Aug/Sep (we have a conference at the Swan for something else and hey, have to stay right) and Nov/Dec (Christmas).
