MNSSHP and park tickets question

We are staying 10 days and I paid for 9 days of tickets, and park hopper. Original plan was to take a day off from the parks, just visit resorts, hang out at our resort, do Downtown Disney, pool/laundry. Then I thought about adding one additional day of tickets. Now, I want to do the Halloween party. So, do I need to add another day of tickets if my plan for that day is to avoid the parks(DTD, etc) until party time? What time will I be allowed in? If we are in the parks, when can we get the party bracelets?

You only need a party ticket if you are content with entering MK at 4:00p or later. That's when you are allowed in, and when you get your bracelet.

In other words, if you want to go to the MK before 4 pm or any other park that day then you need a regular park ticket. If you only do MNSSHP then you can enter MK at 4pm without using a regular park day off your normal ticket.
