Hopefully this is the right forum for this. I need to know whether the MNSSHP is the same in September as it is in October. Things like changes to the parades, extra events within the event, etc. Also, I read on another site that the MVMCP in November doesn't feature the parade? Can anyone validate this? Same question as before, what else is different between the November and December MVMCP events?

Trying to plan next years trips, currently week in September and a week in December (special two trip year) and I had the bright idea of going for two weeks back to back and saving on plane tickets. Was thinking a couple of days before Halloween through the first two weeks of November. Thanks for any information and tips.

in 2013 we did MNSSHP in september. as far as i know it is the same as in october, only evilly warm.

this year we did MVMCP november 13. there was a parade. as far as i know the only thing missing was there was no big huge tree, as that does not go up until after they film the TV parade in early december.

There's no difference in either of the parties depending on the dates - all parties have the same events. This year there was a dessert party held during the MNSSHP called Villains Sinister Soiree, but it took place during every party. I'm curious as to what site claimed that November MVMCPs don't have the parade, especially since that's a main attraction of the party.

ETA: I just checked YouTube, and there's multiple videos of the Christmas parade from this year.

I'll keep looking but I can't immediately find the sit that indicated there wasn't a parade in November. I was doing a search for mickeys very merry 2015 trying to get dates (unsuccessfully) for 2015. It's possible I misread the review, but if I find it I will post the link.

Thanks for the information.

Dates for next year's parties (both MNSSHP and MVMCP) won't be officially announced until shortly before they go on sale, which is typically around May 1. However, you can make reasonable assumptions. This year's MVMCP started on November 7, so it's reasonable to assume that next year's will start on November 6. Parties normally take place on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with no parties Thanksgiving week, and since this year's last party is December 19, I would expect the last party next year to be December 18.

I think there will be a small change to the MNNSHP in 2015... based on previous calendars (2009) the week of halloween will slightly vary due to the 31st being on a Saturday. My guess, and that's all it is, is that there won't be a party on Friday and instead it will be on Saturday.

Thanks for the information. I would think that they would definitely have one on Saturday since it's actual Halloween. Could be risky for me though because if I end up going this rout I would likely fly in on Friday. Saturday would be our only shot at MNSSHP.
