MNSSHP and MVMCP tickets are on sale now

Ahh! That explains that! I'm not sure if you print from home, if they give teh actual tickets. Maybe someone can shed some light.

Thank you anyway! I'll try to exchange the tickets when I arrive and if they no, so be it, I'll scrapbook the bracelet :joker:

The last few years, the tickets have just been hard plastic tickets with a single character on them. They are not Halloween themed at all. The bracelets are, though.

Just ordered mine by phone for Halloween night . My family and I are so excited this will be our first party..

What's everyone's opinion on 11/30. I saw that the same party sold out last year. Has anyone attended sold out party before??

Tried 3 times to order ours at 4:00 this morning (Woke from sleep, so thought I'd check), and got an error every time I tried to complete the order. So not impressed with the Disney website lately... I also couldn't do online ADR's on our 180 day mark last week because the site was messed up :rolleyes2

Anyone know historically how fast Halloween night sells out? After hubby got over his shock at the ticket prices, he wants to wait a few weeks to buy them. I'm thinking that's probably not a good idea!!

I've never added anything to our cart on MDE....ever. I looked up hotel prices though last month for my cousin. Never added it to my cart and frankly if that's how Disney is gonna roll, I find it deceitful.

Does anyone know if you can order military MNSSHP tickets early and pick them up at the base, like normal tickets?
That has never been the case with the military discount MNSSHP and MVMCP tickets. They have been only available thru
A) park ticket booths and Guest Relations facilities located inside and outside each theme park, and 2 GR locations at DTD (6.5% tax charged). Or,
B) Shades of Green (no tax added).
I can't say for sure if there is any change to this in 2014, as I haven't seen anything official regarding military MNSSHP tickets. I went to the Disney site and it says absolutely "0". I am looking for info regarding the dates available for military MNSSHP tickets. Would you have any links to this info?

In our normal routine, the first thing we do when we arrive at WDW is to go to DTD and get our MNSSHP military tickets, in case of a (rare) sell-out. Since they're usually only September dates, sell-out is very, very rare.

yay! Just bought mine online!

So I printed them out, but they are also already showing on my reservation page under the tickets section, by our park hoppers - does this mean they will already be linked to our Magic Bands?

I should still bring the paper tickets I printed out though, right? I'm assuming I just show these when I enter the park?

thanks!! :goodvibes

Tickets are finally confirmed for 11/21!!! The website wouldn't let me purchase however so I ended up calling. We're so excited!!

We are planning on going to the first party on 9/1 as that is the only day there is a party night during our trip.

We have been twice before, once in Sept and once in October but never on opening night. Anyone know how crowded it will get and or if it will sell out? I wanted to wait to purchase tickets to make sure no hurricanes or anything crazy as there are 5 of us and its $320 and non refundable. Our dates are 8/26-9/7

My understanding is it's the same advance purchase price a couple days before, correct? I guess more concerned about selling out but then again 9/1 is a VERY slow time of year and it's a school night for locals?

Any info. or experience for an opening party is appreciated! Thanks!

WTH?? I tried to buy tickets online and the website tried to add a $1500 vacation package to my order! What in the heck??????

FTR, I was able to remove this vacation package from my account and just have the party tix in there but SERIOUSLY?
Maybe they thought you would not notice the extra trip and could slip it by you. :surfweb: :lmao:

9/1 is Labor Day. All schools are closed, it's a National Holiday.

This is the first year the party has ever been so early, usually it begins later (9/7 or 9/10). I believe the first party does sell out, but considering this is the first year the party is on Labor Day, I would guarantee an early sell out.

This is also the first year my family has the opportunity to attend the party. I purchased our tickets for 9/1 at 6am this morning.

Keep in mind, schools in the North East (NYC) don't begin until 9/4.

Just purchased our MVMCP tix for Dec. 4th. They were already linked to my MDE immediately after purchase. :earboy2:

Mine wasn't and everytime I try to link them it says the ticket is already linked to another account *sighs* I'll have to call later today.

I was told when we ordered our MVMCP tickets via phone NOT to link them to our MDE account, as it might cause hiccups with your normal day tickets pending on what park you might do during the day.

If you order online, the tickets automatically link to your account plus it asks you to assign each ticket to a guest. We will use the hard ticket for entering the party rather than the band's.

We don't plan to go to any parks before either party, and I'd really like to link my MNSSHP tickets, I'll be offsite for the first time of my trip and I'd like to make FP+ for the 4-7PM period.

Gah, I hope that's not the case. I was logged in to MDE when I ordered so they automatically show up under our tickets. I opted to have hard tix sent via standard mail to enter with so hopefully there's no glitch. MNSSHP will be our first entry to the park for this trip and we won't use the first of our standard tix until the following day.:worried:

mine got messed up! My name is assigned to my 7 year old!

I purchased three adult tickets and one child.

I'm hoping as long as we enter with the actual tickets, there won't be a problem.

They did automatically show up in my MDE account.
