MNSSHP is a hard ticket party held in the Magic Kingdom after is closes. When we went in 2010 the tickets were about $55.

The Food and Wine fest is in EPCOT. There is no cover charge. There are food booths set up all around world showcase. You can buy samples sized foods ranging in price, approximately $3-6. Wine is approximately $4-10.
There are also many events like talks and demonstrations. Some are free, some are extra. The "Eat to the Beat" concerts are held in the amphitheater next to the American Pavilion and are free to attend.

The 2011 price for MNSSHP's October parties was $67.05 for an adult ticket and $61.72 for a child's. Tickets went on sale May 1st. Prices for 2012 and sale dates have not been announced yet.

You can use your regular MYW ticket to enter Epcot for the F&WF. It costs nothing more to walk around and to attend some events. Here's a link to a list of last year's special ticketed events and their costs:

I stand corrected. There were about a half dozen nights in October that you could not get a discount for the tickets. I didn't feel it was necessary to post the Sept. and Nov. prices since the OP is traveling at the end of October.

So what is the difference between 28th and 31st for that price increase? I understand 31st its haloween so is it a different experience those days (28 31st)? also will my dd6 be able to trick or treat on the other days ill be ther20th to 27th

There's nothing different about the parties on those dates. Trick or treating is available each night when there is a party.

:thumbsup2 The party is the same no matter what night you go. The price differenctial is strictly due to it being Halloween night.

When we went in 2007, my kids got soooo much candy. They easily had 4-5 lbs. of candy each from the party!

MNSSHP is SO worth it! On Halloween weekend it is more expensive, but if you have a Disney Visa you could use your points to buy the tickets so it's not so painful.

We were there last year, and enjoyed it SO much! It was just DH & I, no kids and we had a blast! The Food & Wine, not so much. We would never go back to Epcot at that time again.
