MNSSHP and eating

What to do if your child is in costume for MNSSHP and you have a PS in the park before the party. I guess just take them into the restaurant all dressed up, I would just hate her getting something on it. Do a lot of people do that?
I was just trying to avoid big crowds of people arriving at the park for the party. Wouldnt it be easier to already be in there?
How about adults in costume, a lot of them?
This is our first time attending MNSSHP and I am so eacited since halloween is my favorite holiday anyway.

Last year, we arrived about 1/2 hour after the party started and had no real line to get in. Maybe 2 families in the bag check ahead of us. With two small children (18mos & 2 yrs at the time) I didn't want carry costumes and it was easier to dress at the resort and just go. DH & I didn't dress up but many many adults did. I didn't feel out of place because it was hot and I was very comfortable in my shorts and tshirt but I can see us doing a "family themed" dress up in years to come. We had a great time and really enjoyed all the decorations and parades, the kids were great and didn't get too scared! Only the Cinderella witch in with her fog and apple made them hide their eyes! We'll be going again this year. I think DH & I will do Halloween themed tshirts this time though!

We dressed at the resort and ate at LTT in our costumes...but you could easily dress in the bathroom after you've eaten I guess...

I loved being right outside LTT when the party started at 7:00p...that is also where we got our photo taken with no line yet.
