I have an ADR at 'Ohana at 5:10. I know that the party starts at 7 (and I am doing MK that morning).. should I keep the ADR or should I just eat CS? We are on DxDDP so I have credits to use and eat well.. I was just hoping for some help in deciding what to do.. I do not want to be at a restaurant for a couple hours and miss the party or have to wait in lines for everything.. I guess I am just confused and need some help in where to eat

We had a 5:05pm ADR for Ohana & were taken in as soon as we checked in. We were the second table seated, I think. We made it back to the party by 6:30pm. It was perfect for us. If being there at 4pm is important to you, I'd cancel.

Thanks Hades! You made me feel so much better.. All these bad reviews of MNSSHP had me worried that I shouldn't even eat dinner because there was no time to do anything... but this girl has to eat! :rotfl:

:goodvibes Eat! I enjoyed a Lapu Lapu before braving the crowds, too.

The party will be very busy, but I didn't think it was horrible. Go in with a good attitude & have fun. :thumbsup2

You can get into MK at 4PM with your MNSSHP tickets. I have a ressie though at 5:50PM at CRT though. There is still plenty of time to do things. As the park clears out at 7PM from the regular guests you will find many rides with no lines. (It's pretty awesome)(I am basing this on my time at the MVMCP)

There are two parades but only one fireworks so we plan our day around that. Just make sure to go back to your hotel sometime during the day for downtime so you won't have meltdowns during the party. I see it's gonna be a long MK day for you.

We get to the park around 4 (you can use just your party ticket at 4) have a CS dinner and that way we are free to line up for the rare photo ops, and ready to go when the party starts.

So, IMO, I would chose another dinner and be in the park earlier.

Just as an aside, if you want to see the Seven Dwarfs, you need to be in line around 6.

With a 21 month old DS, we won't be doing any lines for photo ops.. Between my DH and DS neither have patience for lines.. I am more interested in the dance parties and some trick or treating for him and the parade and fireworks. I have to keep telling myself this trip is for DS... lol. I am just so addicted to this planning!! Let alone I need a 12 step program for Disboards!
