We received our tickets for mnsshp and it has a sheet with it that reads “while you’re enjoying Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, take time to treat yourself to a scrumptious family-style Not So Scary dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern”.* I wonder if they’re having a special Halloween dinner during party nights.* Hmmmmmm. Theyuse to dp characters, anyone know anything? TIA

It said the same thing last year...They don't have the characters and it is the same meal they serve everyday. They just happen to be open during the party.

The last time we went to MNSSHP in 2007 there still was characters at Liberty Tree Tavern. The characters would dress up in halloween costumes, it was great!

I think they are just trying to drum up business during the party. Most people I know eat before -so you don't miss anything for your special ticket party.

Also, I prefer going to one of the restaurants around the lagoon for an early dinner. Most open at 5 or 5:30PM and it gives you a nice relaxing dinner before making it to the park for the 7PM start.

This past September we did the Crystal Palace the day of MNSSHP. We got dinner reservations early enough so we were done eating before the party started. A lot of guests were dressed up, but the characters were dressed normally.
