Someone I know has 7:10 ADR for CRT on a night that MNSSHP is going on, and doesn't want to buy tickets and go to the party. Since the park closes at 7pm for MNSSHP, would they need to buy the tickets, or change their reservation?

they probably won't let them stay in the park to get seated..... we had a 7 pm ADR at Tony's on a MNSSHP night ( the one we aren't going to) and I called to see if we needed to change it and they told me that yes, we'd need to change it. Unless we had a party ticket, we wouldn't get seated. And that was fine, I fully expected that. We had made the reservation before they put the MNSSHP dates out. But I was glad I called before we got there and they turned us away.
You might want to tell them to call and ask.... they may be able to make it an earlier ADR if it's something they want. :confused3

They will not be seated. Not only that but they won't be refunded their money if they pre-paid or they'll be charged as no-shows if they're on the DDP and didn't pre-pay.

We had a 7pm ADR on a party night a couple of years ago and when we went to cjeck in at the podium they asked us if we had tickets and checked our wrists for our bracelets. We were attending the party that night so we had no problems except missing almost 2 hours of the party eating at CRT.

I am not sure if they check everyone or if it is because we were there right at the start time of the party.

Guests that are not attending the party will not be seated if their adr is at 7pm or later.
