I'll keep my eyes peeled in early May.We booked ours on May 12 for this year's party, so around then. I usually book on the first available date. Disney will announce it on their Disney Parks Blog and website with some advance notice of when you can start buying tickets.
You can look at previous years dates. It’s usually the same pattern and you will be able to guess many of the likely dates before they are released. For instance I know Sun,Tue, and Thu are usually party days, with other days of the week added in at times.I'll keep my eyes peeled in early May.
Thanks for the info!
You can change park reservation dates.I just booked our September trip today and I am so excited to have MNSSHP tickets come out. Trying to figure out how to make park reservations and pick party day without park hours
Ohhh I didn’t see that post. Perfect thanks so much i’ll reserve one of those days for Mk. beautifulYou can change park reservation dates.
After reading one of the helpful posts above, I reserved the Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays that I'll be at WDW in October for MK. Those are the likely days for the party.
I hope this helps.
You do know that you don't need a park reservation at MK to attend the party that day? Of course, if you wanted to use a day of your ticket to go before 4:00 you would. Some people take the morning off, sleep in, relax by the pool, etc.You can change park reservation dates.

Yes I did see that as well. I was playing around with doing it on a separate day but we’re only there for 5 nights and have 1 day off planned for disney springs mini golf and swimming and my husband is already looking forward to that day hahaYou do know that you don't need a park reservation at MK to attend the party that day? Sounds like a good day-after-the-party rest day! I usually buy one less park day on my regular ticket if I am doing a party. The person I quoted sounded like he was going to be there for 2 weeks.Yes I did see that as well. Yes definitely day off after that day. I would absolutely do the party as a separate day if we were there for even a full week.Sounds like a good day-after-the-party rest day! I only wanted to do 6 days at Parks for my 2-week October stay, but a 10-day ticket (one-park-per-day) was cheaper. So, it is likely that I'll only go to MK at night for the Party day.You do know that you don't need a park reservation at MK to attend the party that day? If historical trends continue, probably. Last year the first one was Friday August 12th. It will likely sell out quickly because of all the vloggers so make sure to purchase a ticket early. Will Friday, August 11th likely be the first party? Hoping to fit one in before we leave on the 12th.
I hope so! We also leave on the 12th and want to go to the party! Will Friday, August 11th likely be the first party? Hoping to fit one in before we leave on the 12th.
