MNSSHP 2012 Thread (?)

I'm jumping in on this thread! We went last year and can't wait to go back. DD was telling everyone how she was special since she got to trick or treat at Disney!
We'll be there the last week in September. We'll pick a final date when they're officially released but from the looks of the hours at Magic Kingdom we'll be going Friday the 28th

If you currently have a MYW package booked, when the tickets go on sale can they be added into your package or should they be ordered separately? Also, if you have a TA that booked your original package, would they be able to or should they purchase MNSSHP tickets for you if they can be added to your current reservation?

You can purchase them or your TA can...totally up to you. They are not added to the package, you have to order them for the date you want and it will a separate ticket.

Thanks.... that was something I wanted to know myself

do you think Disney Visa will offer a discount again this year on tickets? Anyone order them this way last year? How did that work.. visa link?

To my knowledge, there has never been a discount on MNSSHP tickets at Disney World. The only discount they have ever offered with the Disney Visa has been for Disneyland's Halloween party.

I saw this thread and just had to jump on!

We are going out in October for our 2nd MNSSHP! Staying at POFQ Oct. 7th-13th.

The last MNSSHP we attended was back in 2007. We had fun, but unfortunately all the party t-shirts had sold out a week or two earlier, according to a CM. So I was bummed about that! Hoping to get a MNSSHP t-shirt this year. Fingers crossed! :goodvibes

We don't really "dress up" but I'll probably do my nails with a Halloween theme, wear a Halloween themed shirt and probably some type of Disney hat, (like Goofy ears, or just plain old Mickey Mouse ears....we'll see! pirate:

Okay, now I'm getting excited, I booked our flights and ordered our costumes

I will be Alice, my dtr will be the mad hatter and my granddaughters will be the white queen and cheshire the cat

Now I am just waiting for the MNSSHP tickets to go on sale :)

I was reading some past MNSSHP threads and there is so much to do. I know we won't be able to do it all with waiting in lines. We are eating at 4:20pm so we can be in line for Flynn & Rapunzel before the party starts. We also want to meet the dwarfs, see the castle show, parade and fireworks.

How are the dance parties with Jessie & Woody and Stitch? I am trying to decide priorities. Is 30 mins enough time to enjoy each party?
my granddaughters are 6 & 8 and one loves Jessie and one loves Stitch.

Only 5 more months to go :cool1:

We'll be going. NO idea on what we're dressing up as this year.
Last time we were Peter, Wendy and DD was tinkerbelle.
I'm hoping to have lost some weight by then, so planning is a bit harder since I don't know what size I'll be in!

For the dance parties we just stopped in and stayed for I think maybe 2 songs and to see the characters then went on our way. Just depends how long you want to stay - can be a quick stop in or hang out and dance.

WOOHOO!! We will be going this year:goodvibes
This will be DD 1st MNSSHP (she wasn't born when we went 2000) any tips would be appreciated :) It will also be my niece's 1st ever trip to Disney.

Good for you! I have no will power what so ever to lose weight. I have such a horrible sweet tooth. Costumes will be in the stores so a last minute costume won't be too hard to come by. Deciding on what you want to be will be the hard part.

I live to see Hallowishes and grovel at Maleficent's feet every year. Can't wait for the tickets to come out...31st here we come!

We'll be there! Going from 10/20-27 and staying @ POFQ. this is our first time at WDW for MNSSHP and I wasn't sure if I wanted to go since it's just me and DH. But after reading about so many adult couples going without children I decided it's a must! We are both kids at heart and I know we'll enjoy it. Can't wait!!!! :cool1:

Hello! This is my very first post I am responding to on dis. We are going from 9/29 to 10/6. I am "assuming" that the days MK closes at 7pm are the days for MNSSH. Would this assumption be correct? MK closes at 7 on 10/4...so that is the day we plan on going. I hope I am correct.

:welcome:

Your assumption is likely correct, but you should know for certain within the next few days, as tickets are rumored to go on sale May 1.
