MNSSHP 2012 Official Information

DH and I are heading into the party about 2:30 in costume, no problems expected (as a CM, I've seen tons of Guests in costume before 4 and we don't bother them).

Thank you for posting this! We plan to arrive early with our MYW tickets to meet Peter Pan before he is done meeting for the day. Happy to hear it should not be an issue to get in already dressed up. :goodvibes

Huh. Have they ever stopped someone from going in due to costume size? The wings slide down your back, in my case they go in between the corset part of the ball gown and my skin. (Hope that makes sense.) I'm 5ft tall so they stick out about 2 ft from my shoulders. While they're not easy to get out I would remove them for parade and fireworks viewing (I'm not going to totally ruin someone else's magic.).

We do the party every year, and we're not hugely worried about photos, so I'm not overly concerned with the dining time. That said, would it help any if I arrived at CRT earlier? Do they take walk ups?

You've got me wanting to go try on my costume again!

Okay I couldn't resist, please remember there will be hair, makeup, and a metric ton of pixie dust (aka glitter):

Your costume is amazing!!!! Did you make the gown or buy it? If you bought it where did you buy it - a department store or wedding gown shop maybe? I will be in Disneyworld with my husband and four daughters the 3rd week in October so I am as excited as you are. We all went 2 years ago in October and I wore a fairy costume with wings too. The only problem I had with my wings because they were more structured than yours was getting on the bus at the end of the evening. They definitely had to come off for that or I would have been smacking everyone with them. I sat down for the parade so I would not block anyone's view. Are you going to get face painting to match your costume? I did (I got a mask) and it really made my costume stand out more. The Cast Member was able to change the colors of the mask I wanted to match the colors of my costume. Hope you have a great time!!!!

For our Sept 25th party! (The TV behind me is creating the illusion BTW)...

Now I just hope UPS doesn't mess up because it's has to be shipped... I've got glow sticks for the flames at night, should be fun.

I know the Tremaines are out for the party, are they still out during the regular park hours?? Dh and I are going as Cinderella and Charming so that is one photo I want and was wondering if we might be able to knock it out prior to the party so as not to waste time

They are out during the day, but I think only until 1 or so. They alternate with the fairy godmother behind the castle. She was always at :15 after the hour and they were at :45.

They are, but per Kenny's website (kennythepirate.com), they stop meeting at 11:55 AM. You would have to use a regular park day to get in and then hope they were cool with you coming in costume that early.

Love it!!!!!!

Trying to come up with some possible schedules for our evening. I have a few questions I was hoping you could help with, based on this year so far or last year's parties:

Are the Pooh characters out right at 7pm? When do people start lining up for them?

Do Mickey and Minnie meet until midnight? I assume they cut off the line at some point?

If you’re watching the second parade (10:30 start) from Main Street, about what time will it arrive at Main Street, and about what time will it be over? Also, roughly what time will the Headless Horseman come through?

Thanks in advance!

I noticed that last year it seemed they stopped letting people into Town Hall around 11:30, no matter what the wait was. We'd see the sign at 11:15 and it might say 5 minutes, hardly anyone would enter the building then at 11:30 it miraculously had a 45-60 minute wait and was closed for the night. I really don't think that back up happened, but I think they wanted to avoid it so they played with the numbers and shut it down.

We received about 30 peeps per person on our way out the exit when we left at approx 11:45 the night of the first party.

Being a Philly boy, I can tell you that the great thing about Peeps is that they keep forever! Don't open the packages and you can enjoy them next Halloween (or Easter, which is the traditional Peeps holiday)!

All sugar!

You could call the company directly, but I found this on an allergy site (albeit from 2007 so always safer to call the company and confirm it's still true.)

Thanks so much! Being peanut free is great, since dd has a peanut allergy and most of the candy given out at the party has peanuts or may contain peanuts. This will be fun for her.

Not to beat a dead horse but...Are they regular peeps or Halloween peeps. I just saw the halloween peeps online and they are adorable.

Peeps are awesome roasted over a campfire! Sugar caramelized around the gooey marshmallow = yummy!

Love all of the info on this thread. Have any of the parties sold out so far?

I checked but no one has sold out that I can see.
