Not likely - we went on Columbus Day last year and it was slow! We're going on Columbus Day this year as well. Here's my report (with photos):

MNSSHP CHARACTER REPORT - OCTOBER 10, 2011

That's our 1st choice of dates so it's good to see that it's not busy. But I'm gonna wait to buy tix to make sure the weather is okay. We've got two back up dates after though just in case.

I feel dumb asking this question, but it has been a few years since we've gone to MNSSHP. Would it be better to go to the 9/14 party (a Friday) which is one of the first parties or the 10/21 (?, a Sunday)? We've done early parties on Fridays, September parties on Fridays, and Sunday parties in October. I am just torn as to what would be the best. I'm thinking weather as much as crowds. Ideas? Thanks.

Hi,
I booked this and KTTK tour yesterday and I have confirmation numbers but can't pull them up.:confused3:confused3
Are we in trouble?

What's Alice's treat trail?

The trail behind Tomorrowland Speedway between Storybook Circus train station and Space Mountain. It has an Alice in Wonderland theme and a few characters along with candy stations.

Saw it from TTA a couple of days ago and can confirm its being themed this way.

Any word on where this pre-parade will happen? Is it just after the headless horseman passes and you follow him?

:welcome:

Are you referring to the monster dance party? From what I understand, it will only take place on Main Street right after the Headless Horseman completes his ride. I don't think it is a moving parade, just done at a single location.

You won't be able to pull them up. Ordering MNSSHP online was just to purchase the tickets, it isn't really a reservation in the same sense are ADR's or Room reservations so you won't be able to see them online.

yay, I'm going that night too :)

Will this be marked on the party map?

Does the horseman ride the entire parade route?

Thanks

I just looked at the event guide on the Disney site and I see they have "your favorite character" spots marked, but doesn't say who is at which spot. Is there anything that says which character is where, or do you just have to rely on Dis'ers going to a party before you and reporting?

Also, are the character dance parties a continuously running event for the entire night? Do they only let a set amount of people participate at a time?

Thanks!

The maps don't say and lot of the time the CMs don't know either. During last year's event we were telling people where to find Rapunzel because they showed up at Fairytale Garden looking for her, and I think it was Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip stationed there....the person working that line had no idea where Rapunzel was, or that Flynn was with her (they were in the princess room in town hall).
You'll want to make that game plan before you go...there will be great info here and on some character sites.

Can anyone tell me which characters are at the party? This is our first we are going sept 25

I'm taking my ds(4) on a last minute trip to WDW for the 25 Sep party. We need the military tickets. I've looked and looked and can't figure out if we can get the military tickets at ANY guest services (hotel, DTD, etc.) or just the ones at the parks and ticket booths. We will be through Orlando a few days before and I was hoping to pop over to DTD or one of the hotels then and secure our tickets. Cheshire? Is this possible?

Oh yeah, and we'll be going as Peter Pan and Wendy! Wendy will be considerably taller than little Peter. Ha.

These tickets can only be purchased at the Walt Disney World ticket windows with your military ID. Shades of Green does not sell these tickets.

You will be allowed to purchase this tickets even if the party has sold out.
