Mnsshp 2011 dates announced

Now, should we go on a thursday, or a sunday?

I hope these dates hold true. The way the dates are now, MNSSHP will be going on 5 times durring our trip. We will probably book one for the earlier part of our trip when the tickets go on sale and 1 for the end of our trip if we feel the need to go again while we are there. Now if only the October hours would come out already...

We will be going for the first time on September 30th Now for costume ideas

We're planning on being there on Sept 30th too. There will be 11 of us. We're planning on doing Peter Pan Characters. DD 24 is planning on being Pan, DS 26 is going to be Hook (in a wheelchair), Friend's DGD is going to be Tink, We'll also have a Wendy, Tiger Lily and assorted pirates. BF and I doubt that we will get our husbands to dress-up, but I keep telling DH that he'd make a great Smee. Maybe we'll run into you! Can't wait.

I posted these same dates and was told by knowledgeable DISers that they CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

I second this. Last year the calendar looked similar to what it looks like now, but shortly after they ADDED MNSSHP dates. There were 4 parties during our trip last year (last week of September). Hope they add more this year too!!

I will not be there this year, but I will next year! I LOVE MNSSHP!!!! I just wonder why there is a party every Tuesday in October except the first one??? That's the week we always go (well, every other year), and it works better with our schedule for us to go on a Tuesday. They used to have one on the first Tuesday. Hmmmm.

As my DD would say, "I know, right?" It is the week we go too, and I would prefer to go Tues. rather than Thurs. Oh well, it is what it is. We'll be there the 2nd.

IF park hours are right on disneyworld.com then the end of September dates the park does indeed close at 7.

We are aiming for Sept 27th, if in fact those are the MNSSHP nights. We are there for 9 nights, so hopefully it will occur a few times for us.

We use to go on the first Tuesday in October as well. We were planning on going on Tuesday again this year but it looks like we will have to move things around and go on Thursday. Hope the October hours come out before we make our ADR's in two weeks.

Thank you for posting the tentative dates on the other thread.

I think Allears had their hands on the unofficial dates last year..and it seemed to be okay. Besides, nothing is ever 100%. Even the official dates aren't set in stone since Disney reserves the right to change.

If this is accurate information, then awesome! We'll be arriving on the afternoon of the 29th, so if there's no MNSSHP that night we wont get shooed out of the park and can hang out late.
