I LOVE it! Thank you so much! I'm wondering, if it's not too much trouble and if it's possible, can you add a Tinkerbelle flying around in there somewhere - Tink's her favorite. If not, that's fine - I love the design as it is now. Also (sorry to be a pain), I would love to make matching shirts for my other 2 DDs but without the birthday saying. Hmmm - maybe just say Walt Disney World and keep the October 2007 underneath? Oh, I'm so excited to make these! Thank you so much again!

I have to laugh that you asked that, because I PMed her to do that same thing with Tink!

OK guys, this will be my first attempt at a design ever... still toying with PS and the innerworkings. So my first comment on it, is yes - it is very "sqaured" off. I wasn't that creative yet in the placement of items. My other comment is that this is a trip for two adults only that LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE Halloween. This is our favorite holiday ever, and we love all things "dark" ala Tim Burton and such. So that kind of inspired the feel for this. I'm not sure what I plan to do with this yet. I was pretty much learning my way around PS and how to get pictures to show through fonts and stuff... this is what I came up with.

Any help or tips are welcomed! :goodvibes

For your first design, this is extremely good! The only suggestion that I would make is to enlarge the phrase "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party". They seem a bit small and overpowered by the rest of the design. Right now your anniversary phrase, being all white, is more prominent. And by doing so it will fill up some of the black space at the top of the design.

Does this make sense? It's a very nice, spooky design! Good job! :thumbsup2

Just an idea... :idea

There are so many cute MNSSHP party ideas that it has been too hard to decide on which ones to pick for our shirts! Plus with the kids in costumes they won't get to wear their shirts at the party.

Yesterday I was in Michael's buying some transfer paper (50% off coupons :cool1: ) and I saw they had orange and black canvas Halloween totes. I picked up one for each of my kids and I'm going to put a MNSSHP design with their name on a bag for them to use for trick or treating in the park. That way there is no arguing over which bag belongs to which kid and I get to use several designs instead of having to choose just one  One for each side of the bag and one for thier shirt :) The bags were abut 11 inches wide by 8 inches tall so not too big to carry around MK, AND they were only $1 each!:thumbsup2

COOL!!! Just toady I was thinking about doing this. And to think that I was in Michaels yesterday and didn't see them! I can be blind as a bat sometimes. Thanks for the tip!

I knew I needed another project to do!

OK, Kirsty, they are officially PERFECT! Thank you so much. Only 6 weeks until our trip and I can't wait to make the shirts. That will really make it seem like our trip is coming soon! Thanks for adding to our Disney magic!

Just be careful. I had the same idea with the bags. I ordered bags on line with zippers. The are not 100% cotton. The inside has a plastic like texture. This melted when we put on the design. Good luck. Love to here if yours worked.

This is all 5 Disney Fans fault! Just because she told us about the bags at Michaels, I had to go buy two, download some designs and make some bags for my kids. The horrible, horrible influence you DISsers are on me!

:woohoo:  :woohoo:  :woohoo:

Here are the finished bags. I'm bummed because DD's design got on crooked - DS bumped it and didn't tell me before I ironed it on. Oh well. Maybe I'll try to camouflage it by putting some orange rick-rack around it.

I got the "trick-or-treat" ribbon at AC Moore (40% off this week!). I also took some advice on another thread about sewing velcro to the top so the candy won't spill out on rides. I put the velcro on the inside space between the handles.

Just thought that I'd share! And thanks for sharing the idea, too! :thumbsup2

My dd and I are leaving in 4 days for our first party 9/14 and have decided against costumes b/c of the humidity. We are making shirts and t or t bags. I went to Michaels and got the bags too. We will probably do a screenprint on the bag and back of shirts, but for the front they had adorable crystal sayings you can iron on. We got "ghouls night out" in green crystals, along with a couple ghosts, witches, etc to iron on. What would anyone suggest for the screenprint on the back? Is there a cute design of the haunted mansion? I don't have photoshop, so I am looking for a pic online I can use. Kinda like print it out, iron it on. Thanks for anyones help.
