What about wearing green? I must have missed that somewhere. Also, is there an official DIS MNSSHP t-shirt design? Thanks!

I tried to respond to you smnornes later but the server was busy (?) The lime green signifies the DISers. Maybe we'll all run into each other at the party!! For those of you there on 17th, I'll have pink and black Tink backpack with my lime green hanging on the zipper. Hope to see others!!

As far as a t-shirt, I don't know. This will be my first one, though I do know that they have special pins for the party. That would be great to memorialize the party with a t-shirt. :dance3:

Tickets came in the mail today. We are going on Oct 19th and I just made ADR's @ LTT for 5:40. Hope to see some of you there.

Ok, thanks, I get it! I was on some of the Creative DISigns threads and found some lime green Mickeys to print. I'll attach one to me if I don't wear green. :thumbsup2

Our flight arrives in Orlando at 5:00pm. We got a rental car, so we'll pile in and head straight to MNSSHP. I'll have to pack the kids' costumes in a separate carry-on in case our luggage goes missing. We need to check into CBR at some point! LOL! I guess it depends how quickly we get through the airport. I need to get my map out and see if CBR is on the way to MK or not. I'm a Thrifty Blue Chip member, so the car pick up should go really fast at least. I'm praying for no delays!

Hi, question: We are DVC members and are bringing some friends with us to MNSSHP - are we able to purchase DVC discount tickets for our friends as well or is it just for our immediate family members?

:thanks: I printed mine and I am ready to display it on my backpack!!
4 months and 10 days!!

You're very welcome!

It was so fun today to listen to the kids try to come up with a list of all the villians they will hopefully see at the party. They were coming up with all kinds of them!

Has anyone been to the "dance parties?" What are they like? Which characters host the dance parties?

How large are the treat bags or do you recommend bringing your own?
(I have toddlers so they dont need so much, Im asking for my DH sake)!;)

Yeaa!!!We got our tickets in the mail yesterday. I ordered DH and I t-shirts from Disney shopping with Mickey and the gang dressed in Halloween gear and with our names on them. Now I have to figure out costumes for the kids. I need something that is either comfy and cool enough to wear all night or something that they can wear shorts and t-shirts under to be removed as the evening goes on. Any ideas for a DD(3) and DS(19 months)?

I have a couple ideas for my son for the party. What do you think?

Basketball player
Olympic swimmer
Pirate- can wear shorts with the costume

Ok, so here's our plan...

We land at MCO at 5pm on the 17th. We will quickly get our rental car (I'm a Thrifty Blue Chip member, so it really should be QUICK) then head to CBR to check in, then bus over to MK for the MNSSHP. I know we won't be there right at 4pm (obviously) but we're actually looking forward to trick-or-treating later so it is not so crowded and seeing the second parade. I just hope the kids hold out that long. We don't have early morning flights, so we will sleep in as long as we can before heading out. And we have nothing HUGE planned for the day after, so we can sleep in again. I just hope it is do-able. It should be, or I wouldn't plan it this way, but ya never know!

I've been seeing the "we're too excited to sleep" commercial and just LOVE it! :cool1:

Treat bags about the same size but are a little wider than a typical brown paper lunch bag. They're made of heavy orange plastic with a black plastic handle. I think your husband should be all right with the amount of candy the sack holds, unless he's a candy junkie popcorn::

They will give you an extra treat sack if you want/need one. Just ask. They have them at most, if not all, of the candy stations. :thumbsup2

That is great!!!!! You have a wonderful and thoughtful son!!!!! (I hope that my son or daughter will thing of me or my hubby in such a wonderful way when they are older.

Last night I found something!
You know the Happy Dance board? Well, inside that board are threads listing the different dates that people are going to MNSSHP. A DIS'er posted a thread for Thursday, October 5, and I could not find one for the 6th. So she suggested a thread be started for the date I'll be there.
So I did it. If you're going on October 6, go to the link at the bottom of my post and sign in - let's hear about your costume (if you're wearing one) and add your name to the list (I'm the only one so far on the list, but I'm sure I won't be the only DIS'er there that night!)
I know it's more than three months away, but let's get it started :cheer2:

pperfectmom,
do you have a link for the shirts you ordered from disney shopping? We are looking for something like this for our trip. Thanks!
