MNSSHP 2006, Ready to start planning!

You will have a blast at the party, we went last year and just loved it. The actual party starts around 7:00pm and we were still in the park after midnight, we were able to go from ride to ride with very little or no wait time. Plus moving throughout the park going to the different candy stations was great. You'll love the parade it was wonderful.

I can't wait!!! Now I'm obsessed with finding costumes for the kids. I need something for a 19 month DS and a 3 year old DD. I prefer something cute, cheap and cool because I'm afraid Sept. will still be really hot. Any ideas?

Hi! Love the picture! Just a question for you. Where was Cinderella's Coach placed at last year's party? I remember reading from last year's MNSSHP thread that some people didn't see it. I'm glad to see that it was out, it makes such a great photo opportunity! :thumbsup2 Did any characters make appearances by it? Thanks so much!

So very sorry if this question is a repeat... This thread is LONG! LOL

Of the 4 of us, only 2 (DD and I) are going to MNSSHP (on 9/29). We have ADRs at LTT for 4. If I call and try to change them to, say 5, and we are planning on heading back into the park around 4-4:30 ish, will it be a problem getting DS and DH back into the park, since they won't have tix for the party? Will they be shoo-ed back out of the park the moment they're done eating? I'm not quite sure what to do, but I can tell you that 4 is pretty darned early for us to be eating the evening meal.

Perhaps we just need to split up and I'll make ADRs for DD and I in the park and DH and DS at Epcot, since that's where they plan on heading to while we're at the party.

Thoughts? Advice??
TIA!!

Sorry, I don't understand your question. People without tickets to the party can enter the park up until 6:00p - when the park officially closes, with regular park admission.

So if your reservation is 4p or 5p those without party tickets can still get into the park with regular admission, then when they're done eating, they will just have to leave the park.

I don't really understand your question I guess.

We did MNSSHP in '03 it was awesome. The park is open, you have to show your ticket to get a special wristband and a trick or treat bag. My kids had a blast and got lots of candy. I loved the parade. I want to go again but most likely not until 2008 since my '07 trip is already planned. :Pinkbounc

The schedule I have says the park closes at 5 that day.

So, as long as we're back in the park by closing, I could schedule the ADR for 5 or even 5:30 and have no problem keeping them in the park, right? I just don't want to be standing there, taking a picture and waiting for our ADR and have a CM hovering over us anxious to get them out of the park. It's not like either of them would even consider staying for the party... they are NOT crowd people! LOL

For not understanding my question, you answered it alright! :thumbsup2

Glad I could help! ;)

Yes, the park closes at 6:00p party nights.

I hear ya! I already started a countdown calendar for my kids. Every morning they get up and put another star on their Disney calendar. I've got them so excited to go I can't hardly stand it! :rotfl2: I spent a good part of the morning reading the DIS and even called WDW to make my room and special requests. I am SO hooked on Disney!

That's awesome. I couldn't get the video but the map for the party was great. Come on October 17th!!!!

For the video, I opened it in a new window, then it just stayed blank (white) while it loaded. I thought it wasn't doing anything, but it did take a little bit to load. I just tried it again and got it to work. Good luck! We're going October 17, too!

That's what happened when I tried the video too. I'll try it again. I was at work and was trying to sneak a peek. ;)

All RIGHT! :woohoo: sounds like there will be a few October 17 people there! don't forget to wear your green so we all know who you are! :thumbsup2 SEE YA! Helen and Family

What about wearing green? I must have missed that somewhere. Also, is there an official DIS MNSSHP t-shirt design? Thanks!
