MNSSHP - 10/31 - Who is going?

Have searched and hadn't seen a thread started for the Halloween MNSSHP yet!

We're excited to be going to the one on Halloween night! It will be myself and DD (12 soon to be 13), Callie. We went to MNSSHP a couple of years ago. We're flying in that day and should be at the park by 4:30 or so. Didn't set up an ADR so we'll just do snacks or counter service before the party gets started.

We're staying at POFQ.

We may do Halloween shirts--DD will be wearing a Jack Skellington shirt --but no costumes.

So who else will be there?

Hi! We'll be there on Halloween! The last time we went to MNSSHP on Halloween night we were able to ride the Haunted Mansion right at midnight! We're going to try and do it again this year!

DH & I are going to try to keep it from our DS4 until after dinner at Rainforest Cafe. Otherwise, he'll only have two bites of his dinner and say, "I'm done!"

All of us are dressing up; me in my medieval outfit left over from my sci/fi convention days and our DS as Superman. My DH...he's still trying to figure out if he wants to buy a costume or use his leftover medieval outfit.

The only problem I will have with this night is that it is our last chance to party We leave to come home on 11/1.

Although, our son is making out like a bandit this year! Not only does he trick-or-treat at Disney, but he is also going to be able to at Sea World when we go on 10/28! Well, at least he gets to wear his costume twice

I'll be there! It is my first MNSSHP (I was at MVMCP last year) and I'm very excited to be there on Halloween!!!

I'm dressing as a mousketeer...we are cruising before the WDW portion of the trip and I wanted something easy to travel with!

We' ll be there, 11 of us. Started out going as a group- the gals as pink ladies, the guys as t-birds, and my DD12 and DGD 14 making their own poodle skirts. My DS11 an DS 7 rebelled recently and we will now have a pirate and mini Al Capone in our midst! Can't wait!

We'll be there too. We'll have a 5 year old Snow White, an 8 year old Cinderella and an, as yet, undecided 10 year old. Should be a blast. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will wear a Halloween t-shirt and DH might join me--or dress up as Jack Sparrow.

Hi All!

Quite a few of us! I love the idea of riding HM at midnight! We may have to arrange to be over there and do this. It's one of our favorites!

We'll go to the 2nd parade. I like being over by Hall of Presidents. We didn't get to see the headless horseman last time so that will be a first this trip.

Can't wait to see the new POTC additions and changes. That was down on our last trip in May.

Almost at the 30 day mark!

Well we're finally into October and we leave and go to the Party in 25 days!!!!!

Is anyone staying at POFQ? Where is everyone staying?

Meggie, how cool to be doing a cruise on the same trip. We did our first cruise in 5/2005 on the Wonder and we're now HOOKED on cruising!

My DD wants to do HM at midnight too! After all, that's where we saw our WDW ghosts!

We have tixs for MNSSHP for the 31 too!! WE are SEMI dressing up as a Cowboy for hubby and me a cowgirl......Havent been to a MNSSHP since we were married 9 years ago....We are staying this time at CSR from 10/27-11/1 WITHOUT KIDS!!

My DD (30) and I are going again and can't wait! We're both wearing halloween shirts and headbands and light up earrings and pins and plan on trick or treating til our feet fall off. Last year I left her in the dust and I've got 23 years on her!! The old girl still has it. (funny that only seems to happen in WDW... must be the pixie dust!)

Need to get a halloween shirt somewhere or am thinking about going as a "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Play It" winner. Have all the stuff and it's a nice comfy shirt!

Am so ready for a get away just me and DD at our favorite place!

My newly wedded DH and I will be there!! He's wearing a Jack Skellington shirt and I'm wearing a Sally shirt, complete of course, with bridal ears for us both! Yeah!!!!

Saw on the boards this morning that the 31st is now sold out! It will be busy there but DD & I are mainly there for the rides, parade and FW. Hopefully the rides will be low wait times as other party-ers have reported! Not so much there to wait in lines for the characters or candy.

DD will definately be in a Jack Skellington shirt. One of her favorites since she was 3!

At this point, I am unable to sleep well, concentrate at work or focus on too much of anything. I actually almost forgot to get our rain ponchos at the $ store. (a major faux pas-but hopefully we won't need them!)
