Looks like Steve is still waiting on that special perk. We're considering the MVMCP before our cruise, but we will be ordering from SoG if we decide to do it since it means an extra hotel night for us. We want to be sure we have tickets to justify the extra night.

So, what if we're local? If my son (active duty) comes home next month for a weekend, can we go to SOG and he could buy them now for September? Or does it have to be within a few days? I'm assuming he'd need to be here then for anyone to use them (like the Salute tickets)? (He would actually be buying them for him and his also-active-duty GF) but wondering if we could tag along or the discount is only for the service member?

I got tickets last year for my son and his family as well as for my husband and me from SOG. My husband and I have military IDs. I bought them while I was there in April, and we used them in September. Unfortunately they are unrefundable, so you're taking a chance buying them months ahead.
They only have discounted tickets for September this year.
