MNNSHP on October 1st

My DH and I will probably be at MNSSHP on October 1st. We have to decide between that and Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

Is 5:30 the best time to get dinner reservations in order to be done and ready for the party? Is it too late to get dinner ressies at this point?

Have to write down all the meet times, not sure if I'll dress up yet or just get a T-Shirt.

Hi. We will be there too! Me, DH, DS9, DD6. First time and we are looking forward to it! Still undecided what we should do for the day. We have the UPH tickets.....just don't want to do too much. How about you guys....what do you do that day?

We're doing the 10/1 party too. Any official meet planned yet?? We have LTT at 4:30pm.

We will spend that afternoon relaxing, possible head to DTD to shop before taking a nap. Last year we stayed until closing and intend to do the same this year.

We are planning on dressing up. Not sure yet as what yet-- I know DH is going as a "doctor". DS is thinking of going as his assistant. I'm clueless as to what I will wear. Last year we had 11 people and 8 of us were pirates and we had 2 cinderella's and 1 solider. Just the 3 of us this year- so I'm thinking we're going to do individual costumes instead of a group theme.

I'll be at LTT at 5:00. Haven't decided on a costume yet, (it's just me), but hopefully I can find a Halloween shirt for the party.

We are going to try and meet behind LTT and CP around 6:45pm then head up towards the HM between 7 and 7:45.

Just wanted to say HI to everyone again! Can NOT wait to get to Disney. My DH and I leave on the 24th and it won't come soon enough....

Can't wait to meet everyone on the 1st. Still deciding on a costume. It's just DH and I and he's not too keen on it so far. He's about 6'4" and I thought he would be a perfect Woody and since I have RED hair, I could be Jesse! We'll see what actually transpires, though!

I just booked ASMovies for the 1st-3rd (still had AP rates available) and now planning on the Halloween party.

We are leaving West Palm around 3pm and will be there by 6pm so why not join the party, right?!!!!

Jo-Anne, I too have the DH that hates crowds, in fact doesn't like WDW very much. I'm hoping to convince him to my DS5 and myself for a more "quiet" weekend.

I've never been to the Halloween party before, guess it's about time I attend one!

I've been debating long enough, just got my tickets for Oct 1st!

This is our (myself and my DS5) 1st time to MNSSHP and I can't wait! And I'm NOT telling him we are going. I'm picking him up from school next Friday and heading up to WDW - I'm only 2 1/2 hrs away. He doesn't even know that there's a HP with Mickey. Can't wait to see his face!

Anyone ever been to the 1st party? Are we in store for a "quite" crowd?

I went to the first party for MVMCP last year and the crowds were very pleasant. Lots of people but not nearly like the crowds on a normal day, more like a slow day. This is my first MNSSHP.
