MMRR currently hardest FP to get

I'm sure the lack of height limit contributes the popularity. For us, I'm just glad my littlest finally made it to 40 inches! Now we have decent "backups" in MFSR and SDD if we can't get MMRR.

Suggestions?
Should we try to FP+ MFSR and RD MMRR? Or FP+ MMRR and RD MFSR?
MFSR is a MUST and MOST important. MMRR is highly important too.

Neither. Avoid both at Rope Drop if you value your sanity. Instead, do MMRR FP+ and ride MRSR in the evening (its high capacity means that wait times are not as bad at night).

FP+ Distribution was done for FOP until +3 on our trip. You may get lucky! You'd think 1 is easier than 3. If you can't get it originally, I'd keep checking it.

Navi could've been great if they made it 3 times longer than it is.

Makes sense. I don’t care as much since it’s for him - and last time we went he left me and DD while he waited on a 2.5 HOUR ToT stand by line . Worst case I’ll book us all for Navi and then see if I can just change his. Or do another more fun ride FP

Thanks! We aren’t big Star Wars fans, so I don’t really care about ROTR or MFSR. I have HS planned for 60+3 and would like to get SDD that day and for 60+5 and want MMRR

Not riding RotR because you are not a Star Wars fan is like not riding Splash Mountain because you are not a Song of the South fan.
The source material is not nearly as important as being able to witness, first-hand, the greatest use of theme park and theater craft that has ever been assembled.

I cannot tell one bad guy (or good gal) from another on RotR...
But, it is the most amazing thing I have witnessed at a theme park in, well, EVER!

In 2017 people were talking about DHS being a half day park or skip entirely, funny how now it is a 2 day park for many. I know it is for us in order to maximize our chances at RotR and Tier 1 FP selections. Sadly Epcot is now maybe a half day, but maybe an evening spot for eating.

we are doing 2 days at DHS to get the Tier 1's we want.
EPCOT starting the day there and then going to Disney Springs for the rest of the day. 60+2 had my choice of FP+.

I picked up MMRR on 60+2 at 2:05pm (earliest available) for Saturday of Easter weekend. SDD wasn't available for me until early evening that day. So at least that day, SDD was in greater demand.

This could widely change now that MF:SR is using FP+. Keep an eye to see if it is still lower wait times at night.

2.5 hours for ToT??? I love that ride, but not for that wait.

I'd do Navi and then keep checking to change his. Do you guys do Rider Switch? I would definitely recommend that so you don't miss out on height restricted rides. (I know some rides only require the 1 FP for the Rider Switch. FOP is likely different though since it is a big attraction.)

I mean I also don’t want to ride it because I don’t want to have to wake up and bring our 4 year old to try to get a boarding group. it’s just not a priority for us

Eh I don't think RD anything will be "easier" until the ROTR boarding groups end.

No, I believe it will essentially balance and stay the same. People with SDD FP+ will RD MMR and people with MMRR FP+ with RD SDD. As always you will have Star Wars people focusing on MF:SR if they don't have a FP+ and RD something else if they do.

No throw away needed, here is a quick example:

You both want to ride Space Mountain.

DH gets single FP for Space Mountain.
You and DD get FP's for Buzz Lightyear.

Before going to Buzz, all three of you approach CM at FP entry at Space. Tell them you need Rider Switch. Now, DH goes on Space while you and DD ride Buzz. Meet up. Now DH and DD ride People Mover while you go through FP for Space.

No throw aways! It is only really needed if you want to ride something. I remember using for RNR way back when DD was too short. We prefer going all 3, but for those few rides you both want to go on, Rider Switch is really handy. Esp with FP's!

It is nice that if you have to use 2 days in HS to get FP+s you can cover AK with an after hours event and not have to use FP+ for AK (yes I know it costs more but it is helpful). BTW haven't heard as much as I thought I would on the success of folks "checking into HS" and then leaving the park before opening to get free of the crowd to get into RoR QUE. I know it worked for at least some, and I assume you couldn't actually enter another park but there would be more people investigating the range etc.

I’d figure it would be since it’s new. I have it marked for my 60+5 day so I really hope I get it when my FP window opens.

My 60+6 day opened today, and MMRR was an easy grab with essentially any time I wanted. The first 2.5 hours was picked over, but everything from 11:35am on was (and still is as of this posting) open.

I happened to randomly get MMRR FP+ on the day they were made available because I was showing my friends how to modify FP+ in MDE. We didn't even have to make a tough choice since the previous Tier 1 attraction we had was TSM. Swapped Muppets for MMRR, and now we have a good set. The MMRR is for 5:30 pm (yikes), but we figured it was worth it since we have no idea what lines will look like, and we had already planned on RD for SDD and riding MFSR later in the evening.

I think that goes for certain rides (off hand I'm thinking FOP and SDMT, not positive) but I know it can change. Hopefully someone on here will know current rules.
