Mmmmmm we have been to cadbury world today

myself and another childminder took 12 children ages 8yrs to 8mths to cadbury world in bournville today, we were there for 4 hours and got given 5 FREE bars of cadbury choc ( scrummy) thankfully the kids were very well behaved but to paraphrase noddy holder in one of the shows IT WAS A BIT OF A LAUGH!! there is a section for you to taste the chocolate and we couldnt get the kids away from it for ages they kept giong round and round over and over again
it was really busy because of the rain in the area but we had a fantastic time and all of them fell asleep in the cars on the way home so we could navigate in peace!!

ONLY 5 MORE WORKING DAYS B4 THEY ARE BACK AT SCHOOL and i shall be glad to see them go its been a long seven weeks of rain rain and more rain.

i need a cup of tea and a big bar of free chocolate now

I love Cadbury World. Funnily enough I posted on another thread today that I used to live within 2 miles of the Bornville factory and what a delicious smell it was too when the wind blew in the right direction

12 children though? My you're brave!

The freebies always taste better than they do in the shops too!

We went to Cadbury World today. The song 'That was a bit of a laugh' is like the small world song as we couldn't stop singing it all day (we still are!).

talk about small world,it definatly is!! the internet makes us all seem so much closer lol

We had a great day there today. We arrived about 9.30am and went straight in, we got loads of bars of chocolates, my 2 DD's messed around with the liquid chocolate and we had our piece of fudge dipped in it too. It was really good to see the old choccy adverts from years ago like the Cadbury Fruit and Nut case ones. We had a good look around the shop and a quick snack before walking over to the park side and seeing the 'That was a bit of a Laugh - wasn't it?' show. By the time we left (around lunch) it was packed.

Last time we went, they didn't seem to do the free "original tasting chocolate" in the cup (somewhat akin to Beverley at Epcot for pleasantness of taste I remember ). Did we miss this or have they discontinued it??

(Last time I remember it being there was about 6 years ago! So could be long gone!)

Today we sampled some melted chocolate in a cup and it was absolutely gorgeous - yummmmmmmmy!!!

Not one to make you lot jealous or anything but I used to work in a chocolate factory years ago! In the after dinner mint section. We could eat all that we wanted whilst we were working, we even had chocolate eating competitions lol. There were lots of fatties working there, but they blamed it on breathing in sugar particles floating in the air. I used to grab loads of fudge pieces waiting on the trays to be covered with chocolate, squish them up together, roll into a ball and nibble all day!

we are a right local bunch , nuneaton hinckley and barwell all in this post lol
we arrived ar CW at 9.50am and stayed till about 2pm and they were turning people away then as they were full!!
