Mmmmm...smells good!

My lilac bushes are in full bloom. We live right on Lake Erie, so the wind along the lake blows the scent right into my entire house. That was my hope, when I planted those bushes several years ago. I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR! The scent of lilacs is very nostalgic for me.

Just wanted to share. :flower2:

We planted a lilac bush outside our livingroom window a few years ago. The last few nights the scent of lilacs has drifted in our window, too! Nothing like watching the Red Sox on a May evening with the smell of lilacs on a gentle breeze...ahhhh. Enjoy!

I have some of those right outside my bedroom window. That is one of my favorite smells in the world!

We had a 2 bushes full of them right outside the living room window. The breeze would carry the smell through the house, I loved the smell of them until a big storm came through and blew them all off :guilty:

DD had loved the smell of them too, she wanted to take some to her teacher so I let her cut some just before school. I did a bug check, but not too well I guess as we got half way to school and dd and I were covered with tiny little bugs.. :eek:

. I made dd throw them out the car window and told her to brush herself off and sent her off to school. When I got home I found my van seats were covered in them and had to fumigate my van. Then I found that I was still covered in them so I thought of poor dd sitting in school with bugs all over her :scared:

I ran up to school and told the I needed to pick dd up to give her a shower because she had bugs on her :crazy:

. They though I was a little crazy :rolleyes:

. Took dd home and showered us both, did a bug inspection dd, the van and I all passed. So I took her back to school and was calmer so I was able to explain to the school what actually happened other than dd had bugs :lmao:
