Mmmmm....Fresh Peaches!

I went to our local Farmers market this past Saturday morning and while I was there I saw someone selling big 2 quart boxes of fresh peaches. They looked and smelled so good that I bought one box and brought it home.

Apparently I just discovered a pregnancy craving I didn't know I had. I must have eaten 15-20 of them since Saturday morning and I just can't get enough. They are so juicy and they taste so good. I am eating 2 right now and I imagine I will probably be back in the fridge for at least one or two more before bed.

Anyone else enjoying fresh peaches this time of year?

I have been enjoying the Fresh Peaches too, got some for .79c a pound at my local Meat Market. Publix has them for 1.29 a Pound!

becka--that's funny--when I was pregnant with my daughter (second child), the only craving I had was for peach milkshakes from the Hardees down the street.

I wish I could share your enthusiasm. Everytime I get peaches they rot BEFORE they ripen. It's really aggravating. I smell them everytime I go into the grocery store and I just have to get them. I've had a few that were ripe when I bought them and they were wonderful. But, I'm just getting so aggravated having to throw them away. Grrrr. Maybe I'll try to find a farmer's market rather than getting them from the grocery store.
