The Queen of Multiquotes has returned and responding and commenting on yesterday!
thanks my disney friend! when are you going again?
Natalie - we leave early on 1/1 and return 1/6 since the kids go back to school on the 7th. We are going with another family so there will be 10 of us in all of our matching t-shirts. (20 still to make - I need to get that done!)
big favor--can anyone (everyone) post a day in your life on Step 1? I need to get back on track and I start out each day in hopes of doing it and I'm not doing it. give me an example of breakfast, lunch dinner and snacks for a day either now on step 1 or when you were on it. I need ideas, my brain is foggin up!
You have received a lot of info, but mine looked like this:
Up at 6:00 a.m.
6:45 - 1 piece of lc toast with butter
9:00 - cottage cheese
11:30 - salad with ham, bleu cheese, almonds, sunflower seeds, lf, lc dressing.
3:00 - string cheese, or pepperoni chips, or parmesan chips
6:00 - meat, veggies, salad
10:00 - I don't remember by bedtime snack, might have been a piece of toast.
My Mom and sister were wonderful at sewing. The last time I tried to sew something, I sewed a sleeve onto the neck opening
That is why I need a pattern. Can't do anything without one. I am always amazed on Project Runway as they sit there and just pin something onto the dress dummy.
Hi Everyone - I'm out here. Just getting by. Not completely on plan, but not really off either...if that makes sense. So busy with birthdays, end of year work stuff and family matters. Hope everyone is doing well and I miss you all!!!MUAH!
Stay with us when you have time Cindy. We'll always be here for you!
Bev - thats so great that you will have 2 Eagles!! I dont think some people realize all that is involved there and what an honor it really is....BTW, care to share that banana/pineapple bread recipe? I have several banana bread lovers who would probably really enjoy that! E-mail it to me so we dont get anyone confused here!! Thanks!
Robin - I will try to remember to post it when I get home. I screwed up that loaf - should have been 2, so I had to buy some more overripe bananas, a can of pineapple and some more oil at the store yesterday so she can make more tonight!
Just checking in. Read a lot of the posts. I am in Step 2 and don't know if I am losing inches or not. Hope so. Seems I am at a stand-still with adding carbs back in slowly. Was hoping this would work great for me. I just have problems getting all my water in every single day.

Hope everyone is ready for the holiday. Talk to all later. Have a very busy schedule right now. Everyone have a good MM day!
Honey - I know what you mean about the water.
Well, I'm starting back on step 1 today and will have to get my head back around 5 carbs or less every 5 hours, eating something 1 hour after waking and 1 hour before bed. I do pretty well most of the day except for the eating first thing in the morning. I get up and get busy with my chores and before I know it, hours have gone by and I haven't eaten.
We didn't go out for our anniversary dinner last night as our 1 yr old grandson was sick with a high fever and we could tell that our daughter would like to have some help with the 3 yr old until her husband got home from class at 9:00pm.We will try again tonight to get out. I was all pumped up for the "we need to talk" thing last night so hope I can carry through.
Off to my friend's birthday breakfast...the easiest step 1 meal to eat at a restaurant, I think.
Carol - you need to jot a note on a post-it on the bathroom mirror to remind you to go get an a.m. snack.
I hope your rescheduled dinner went well.
I agress that breakfast out is very easy on Step 1. Be careful. We were at IHOP and I was going to have an omelette. When I read the description, they put pancake batter in their omelettes to make them "fluffier." So it was back to scrambled eggs and turkey bacon for me.
Beverly - congratulations to your son and his Eagle Scout work. I know how much time you and your husband have to put in too.
Thanks. DH and DS do most of the hard work. I am very proud of them both.
Beverly: You and your family are SO CUTE! It was really so much fun to get your card! I love it. Thanks for thinking of us.
Thanks! I love doing the photo cards. They can be so much fun!
I haven't lost any weight, but I fit into a 29 long that my husband bought me as a pair of goal weight pants. They are a little tight, but I wore them when I went to Raleigh and felt really good!!!! YIPPEE for me.
Cindy - a 29? WOW!
I also put on a suit I have not had on for a while and it fit!!! SIze 10 - of course there is stretch to it.

I know I couldn't get into regular pants in that size, though. I'm working on it though - just like the rest of us!!
Jocelyn - Another WOW! Great job.
Hey, where is everyone? I'm really tired after a long day. I have a job interview tomorrow! I went to Sallys and found a perfect outfit for the interview. Plus I found some woman's size large spandex exercise shorts in great shape. Can you say "girdle."

I had to jump into them but they work like a charm! And cost $1.99 I don't think they have been used either, they look like store overstock that got donated. They had another pair right beside them that was a duplicate except for black, and both of them appeared brand new. The cool thing also, the dress is a 24. It must be a large 24, but my gosh that is quite remarkable!
Nell - my thoughts and prayers are with you on your interview today. Good job on the new clothes too. We all love new clothes, especially in a smaller size.
...know that God will only give me what I can handle.
Cindy - that is my mantra when life gets tough. I know if he gave it to me, I can do it! As someone once said, I just wish he didn't have so much faith in me sometimes!
Hi Everyone, back from my rounds....Dennis is undergoing his first chemo treatment today, so I imagine he will be feeling the ill effects of that tonight...
I swear my tummy feels flatter already...Im sure it is probably all in my head though!!
I just got the call there is 5 hours OT available in the morning...so Im outta here early early and off to another 14 hour day...guess its good I got lots of sleep last night! And Im off to bed now, so should be able to get in at least 8 hours tonight too! Sorry if I missed anything important...I will check in tomorrow morning...
Robin - I hope Dennis feels okay with his chemo. My DS had a first-grade teacher who was going through chemo. She taught in the a.m. and would get her chemo on Thursday afternoon. Teach on Friday a.m. and then feel puny for the weekend, but be back on Monday a.m. She was such a dedicated teacher and lovely woman.
I am sure your tummy is flatter, I think we have a sense about these things!
Have fun with your 14 hour day today. I'll turn on my AIM here at the office if you have some time and want to say hello!
Kate is fine and she will be saying Hi soon. I'll let her fill you in on her niece, but the news is good.
Can't wait to hear. Thanks for the update Lisa.
Morning from Nationwide! LOL, wow, its early for me to be here, especially during the week. Found out the reason we have OT today is due to the midwest snowstorms have closed two of our offices...Des Moine, Iowa and Columbus, Ohio....Bev, are you getting a snowstorm?!!
Cindy - The game Bev was looking for was called Mindflex...dont know anything else about it though!!
We are getting flurries and horrible wind. Chicago (200 miles north) is to get 6". I bought a kit yesterday at Target to accessorize your snowman to look like Mickey Mouse, so I am kind of hoping for some accumulation soon.
I did ultimately find the Mindflex at Wal-mart due to a great Manager and a really wonderful employee! I picked up four of them (sold the other 3 to my friends) when they had them in. My Target said they get some every morning, so be there at opening.
Hey all, just wanted to drop a line or two. I'm off plan right now. I fell the other morning and sprung my ankle and I've been comforting myself with off plan food. I know, I know I shouldn't but I am. On top of that, I've been to two Christmas dinners already and didn't do well. I hope everyone else is doing ok.
Nell - good luck on the job interview. I'll try and check back in later. Continue to pray my strength. I know that this WOE is for me, it's just so hard not to resort back to old habits when life throws you a curve ball.
Sandra
Sandra - saying prayers that your ankle will heal and that you will find the strength that we all know is within you.
Well, nothing big going on here today. Back at work, it's cold and very windy. I'll check in later!
