MM Warriors Part Deux (As of October 27)

Have a good sleep, Nell, and good luck with the appts. tomorrow! I should get some of those applesauces for Tom's lunch. He'd like that. It was great to hear you so happy and feeling great. It just gets better and better. We'll be holding thoughts for easy and productive appts. tomorrow for M!

Well, looks like y'all have gone to bed early again! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I just get so amped up after the gym I have to find something to do for a couple hours before I can get to sleep!

Nell - crossing every appendage I have that can be crossed, and praying like crazy for a positive appointment for Marti tomorrow! You'll get around the place just fine...think of it as some extra exercise!! I stocked up on the individual applesauces too, so thats going to be my only fruit til I see how step 2 affects my blood sugar this time. I am off and running on step 2 again, so we shall see!! I have to take a trip to Goodwill and see if I can find some newer sweaters that fit better, then the old ones will go on "barn duty"!!

Lisa - go for the gym if you can find one, I swear I feel so GREAT after I am done there...you would think 2-3 miles on the treadmill would have me laying in a sweaty, exhausted heap on the floor, but NO!! I feel like I could go another 2-3 miles when Im done!! Who would have though that at 50 pounds overweight still, I would have all this energy! BTW, glad you gave Tutu a ZAP too...what was she thinking!!! LOL, Love you Laura!!! But theres plenty more ZAPS where those two came from!! ;)

Kate - I knew you would pick up on the LOON thing!! But seriously, who goes around patting their belly and mumbling to themselves at work!! :rolleyes1

Nite MM's!! Love you ALL!!

Good Morning Everyone.

I am heading off to bed - some of you are having your middle of the night snack as I have my before bed snack!

I spent the evening trying to figure out where I am on an afghan I started knitting several years ago. The pattern is seashells and it always takes me a long time to figure out where I am in the pattern when I start again:lmao:

I thinik I have it mastered so am now going to finish it this year!!! That way I won't have to go through the process again!:yay:

Have a great day everyone - and I will "see" you all later.

Robin:lovestruc - great on the too big sweaters and Nell:santa: - I hope your appointments for your hubby bring some solutions and relief.

Congratulations to those needing new undies - even if it is a pain!!! The fat is just melting off of you................:banana:

Love to ALL:love:

Good morning everyone!! I fell asleep before I could tell you all night night! I hope you all had a great night sleep!

Robin, be careful rubbing your belly. Pregnant women do that!! Your co workers will start thinking you are! Just kidding dear!

Don't know why I've been feeling so sleepy lately especially after getting home from work. I've just been wiped out.

Well, off to get ready to take Carrie to school. Catch up later. Short day today at work, but lots of running around to do!!

And the only thing I hate more than shopping for a bra is shopping for a purse. I've been looking for a purse I like for a month now!! I need to go to Ross or Marshall's to get one. The closest ones are about 45 min away!!

Later everyone!

Hey Kate! It's great to see you tonight! I have to hit the hay shortly. It's an early morning tomorrow! It's great to see you all though. Talk to you soon or tomorrow! Not sure yet. :rotfl:

Nell - I will have both of you in my thoughts today. I hope your journey to Tampa is successful. Travel safe.

Kate: We made Mediterranean Chicken last night - 6 pieces, then Tom's lunch, then spaghetti squash and pesto with leftover chicken tonight. I thought of you - it was sooooo good. Where has spaghetti squash been all my life??

Hmmmmm. I think I know what I am having for dinner tonight!

Morning, Kathy. I don't hate purse shopping but it sure is hard to find just the perfect one! They can't be too small or too big. I hate the ones that turn into black holes where you can't find anything once it goes in.... If I had an unlimited budget, I would actually LOVE purse shopping! I don't think I would love bra shopping even with an unlimited budget....

I have been so off-track and I was so happy to receive Robin's email. I tried to read all the posts on this thread but stopped after a couple of hours.;)

Here's where I am - I loved Step 1 and when Step 2 began I just couldn't get it together. Cravings returned big time and I was eating all the wrong things at all the wrong times. That went on for 3 weeks. I restarted on Step 1 on Sunday and I feel so much better.
I am still unemployed (since May). I finally had a job interview last Thursday and I think it went really well. I'll know by the end of this week. Please keep me in your prayers!

Robin :bride: - How romantic!! When will you get to see him again?

Hello to everyone else! I'm happy to see you're all doing well on the plan (unlike myself). Hopefully now I can get it together with your help.

Diane

I am off for work. I have a 7:00 a.m. business meeting every Tuesday morning......

Morning Kate and Kathy! And of course anyone else who is just dragging them selves out of bed!

Jocelyn - purse shopping is awful, I wish I could find one with a little pocket for EVERYTHING individually, so I wouldn't have to keep digging around in the bottom of mine for all the little things! I find myself constantly dumping the whole thing out on my desk to find one thing, which always ends up in the bottom somehow!

Pam - from the time on your post it looks like your seashells kept you up half the night! Im bad too, I have a couple embroidery projects unfinished, and I love to crochet, but never seem to finish anything!

Kathy - LOL, dont think I have to worry about anyone thinking I am pregnant! They are used to seeing me fat, so if anything they would worry I was thinner and maybe sick! All the co-workers on my "team" know about me and MM, but theres alot of other folks in the building that I dont see quite as regularly and it was one of those who told me to ditch the too-big sweaters!

Pony's day off, so doing some more cooking, and some online christmas shopping today, then off to the gym later to work out with an old co-worker from my last job...pretty sure Im going to get my butt kicked and run through the wringer! But its all good...gotta have someone push me a little, since I am pretty good at letting myself off too easy!

Diane

Glad you found us! How long are you back on Step 1?

Hi Diane! So glad you made it here. dont worry about starting step 1 again...I had to do a 30 day repeat, Barb is doing a repeat, Nell did for a couple weeks...its just what you have to do! I am trying to get SueAnn to start posting again as she says she is having trouble on step 2 also since she has a foot injury and cant exercise....thats why we are all here, for that support and encouragement and to help "work it out" when we get confused and start making slips!! Just let us know how we can help.

Thanks, Ken is great, but the contract he is involved in over in China has him back and forth to London too, so we are hoping now he will be back in the States by Thanksgiving. I am learning the new virtue of PATIENCE!! LOL, which has never been a strong point for me!

Kate - go to work you Loon!

Diane - glad you are feeling better...how long are you going to do step 1 again? Are you starting over completely, or just going for like 10 days or a month? I did a month to get my blood sugar back under control, but I think you would probably be ok with just 10 days? Did you weigh and measure before you started again? If not, you really should so you have a new baseline!

Good Morning Everyone!

Diane  It's wonderful to see you!

Marti's on the phone now trying to cancel the appointment. I don't drive and if they do the shots we may not be able to get home. Being service connected, the VA should have to cover the transportation... but why wait the morning of the appointment!:mad:

It's great to see you all in the morning! I already went and picked trash! :rotfl: Seriously, there was a nice hutch out on the curb that had the glass shelves broken. It lights up, really pretty. And I'm sure the glass won't cost that much at the hardware store. We asked if we could have it. The trick was getting it on top of the Toyota Yaris! I pretty much had to do it myself. Thankfully I still have a lot of weight to put into it. :) I just leaned and pushed. Now there's some small scratches on top of the car so I'll have to get the touch up from Toyota. The car is a really funky green color that isn't common. Kind of like moss in sunlight.

It was nice last night. We had the windows open and fans going. It's starting to warm now and it's muggy. Pretty soon it will be A/C time. I hope that it cools by the time my parents come. My mom hates the heat. Kind of like me! :rotfl:

I had scrambled eggs with triscuts and apricot jam for breakfast. I'm really feeling well. I ordered d-ribose and that joint gluco chromo whatever stuff. :lmao: You know what I'm talking about right? It will be an interesting experiment with the ribose. It would be so incredible if it helped. Stabilizing my insulin has helped so much already. If I get helped more I can climb the top of the world!

Well, off to get more fake coffee! (it actually has one tablespoon of real coffee in the mix) I'm still using very limited amounts of caffeine when I have to get up early. Maybe being up early will help me to get my sleep schedule in order? I hope so. Well, check in later gators!

Kate and Jocelyn: There's a new store in Murphy's that's 100% purses! I have to have one with two pouches on the outside for my phone and keys. Found two like that there. Hang on for Feb!:yay:

:welcome:Diane! It's good to see you again. Enjoy your time on Step 1 and we'll help you with Step 2 when you get there again.

Jocelyn: I'd love to have that pattern for the afghan, if it is crochet. I don't knit well. My bonus room is my retreat and it's done in a sea theme. I collect glass fishing floats so that was the inspiration.

Even though I hate losing daylight savings time, it's kind of working in my favor since I am tired earlier I've been recording TV from the night before and getting up earlier to watch a show while I do my treadmill.

Hi Everyone!

I haven't been able to get on for a week and WOW there is a lot to catch up on.

Pony: If you google Purse Organizer, you will find a lot of different types of pockets to help organize your purse so you don't have to dump everything out and it makes it very simple to change purses if you need to. I love my Purseket, I hate digging in the dark bottomless pit for small things too.

I see a few folks have gone back to Step 1 and am wondering what the reasons were? I have been on step 2 for 5 weeks and HATE it. I haven't lost a thing and feel bloated all the time with it getting worse later in the day. I don't have any medical issues so I was wondering if there would be a reason I should go back to step 1.

Thanks!
Sherry M.
