MM vs MM

Can anyone explin the difference between Magic Morning and Morning Madness? Are they synonomous with each other? Also if Magic Morning is abbreviated with MM what is Morning Madness?

I will try my best. Magic Morning is 1 hour early entry to Disneyland on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The rides in Fantasyland and some rides in Tomorrowland are open.

Morning Madness is actually Toontown Morning Madness. I think the abbreviation is TTMM but I am not 100% sure. It is held on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and I think also Saturday (which is the only day it overlaps with Magic Mornings). I am not completely sure what it is, but I think Toontown opens an hour earlier on those days (which means it opens at park opening since it usually opens an hour later).

Also, you need to have tickets to get into TTMM. These are only available if you book your trip through Disney, AAA, or Costco, I believe.
MM entry is allowed once per Park Hopper ticket, unless you are staying on site, in which case you can enter on every MM day offered.

Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness (MTTMM)... you need tickets to get in, as the PP said, you get them by booking packages through Disney, AAA and Costco. ToonTown normally opens to everyone one hour after regular park opening time. On MTTMM days (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat), if you have a ticket, you can get in there as soon as the park opens. About 20-30 minutes after the hour, when everybody has had a chance to get all the way back there, they have a little show in front of town hall. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Daisy show up with the mayor of ToonTown and they do a little song and dance routine, one family gets picked to be the (I dunno, family of the day? Bumbershoot, your family was picked, right?) then Mickey makes a speech and makes you honorary citizens of ToonTown. More song, dance, la la la, and everybody goes off to their respective houses so people can line up and get pictures taken with them. It's cute for little ones. My DD10 thought it was "lame," but then she's 10 going on 16, and not really into the characters, so that's just her.

The only day that MTTMM overlaps with Magic Mornings (early entry) is on Saturday. Then it occurs at regular park opening time, one hour after Magic Morning starts.

Are the rides open durring TTMM? Just wondering if we can get on Go coaster and Roger Rabbit before the masses!

Yes, the rides are open, but the lines aren't much shorter than during regular TT hours. They do a little show with the Mayor of ToonTown and the characters about 20 minutes after the hour. Then the characters dispurse throughout the area for autographs and pictures. However, the lines can be longer for characters during this time than during the day.

Yep avalon451, Eamon's cuteness got us picked as "family of the day", which meant nothing, LOL. We did get to "meet" Mickey up on the stage (though there were no photopass people there so we didn't get pictures) and we got a cute scroll (didn't know it was being turned into a scroll so it only has MY last name on it, not hubby's or son's hyphenated...so I have to get my forgery skills to put more names on there soon), but that's it.

With MTTMM (I always add the M for Mickey on there b/c it helps differentiate it) they do give out Honorary Citizen of ToonTown buttons which are actually quite cute. Disney loves giving out buttons, LOL...
