MM post-registration resort changes…

I have a couple of questions regarding changing a resort registration after getting a MM registration.

I know you can’t change the number of people on the registration, but can you change the names? For MM, this isn’t an issue since they only scan my band, but for something like the free water park, this could have to be done. Last year, one son who I didn’t think would go went last minute and the one I thought might go, stayed home. No free water park last year, but it would have been an issue this year.

Also, can you change the actual resort if one comes available? Not a waitlist, since I think that would change the registration number, but just changing the registration to another hotel by modifying it. The MM is tied to the registration so this might work - or maybe it won’t.

Any answers or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks. I didn’t think so as they’ve never scanned any other bands of our group. Of course it does matter for the free water park so that’s why I was wondering if I could change them.

I’m really hoping I can change the resort if I’m lucky enough to score MM today and a more desirable one opens up later. But I also don’t want to lose the MM reservation.

Last time I asked, people said that you can change resorts when MM reservation as long as your room reservation number does not change. I have changed my room and there is no way to know if my MM tickets are still valid or not? I guess I will just go to the event to find out now.

You can change the resort through modification or via a waitlist. If you cancel, then the tickets are supposed to also be canceled.
