MM Game Plan

In addition to DLR 29's excellent MM superthread that DangerMouse posted (Hi DangerMouse :)), .... here's a link with additional info & comments regarding MM touring:

30 minutes prior to MM is typically when security opens (so getting in THIS line 35-40 min. prior to MM is best). Being one of the first 8-10 families at Security will get you up front (probably first thru third family) in line at the DL turnstile. Being very near the front of the turnstiles is important (to me) so that:

- For MM I'm first on Peter Pan...if i'm first on PP then the rest of MM flows easily. & even if i'm not doing PP, i would want to be first on Matterhorn...or SM (or whatever) during MM.

One of these days .. one of these days ...

I made it into the second ship for the second time on my two most recent visits.

However, yesterday (non-MM), the first guests did not board for at least 5 minutes after arriving.

Thanks for the link with all of that wonderful info! I learned so much! Im so excited I want to go now & not wait until July!

Perlster.....i'm guessing you're talking about being second on Peter Pan. :)

& they delayed boarding for 5 MINUTES for PP ???? !!!!! :scared1:

Didn't they know you had a plan??? A Timetable???? :lmao:

Waiting 5 minutes for PP (or Alice or the Matterhorn) would completely throw my commando touring plan off the tracks. I can't even imagine the line at PP first thing if NO ONE boarded for 5 minutes.....it would be a mob scene.

:)

Whoops! I wasn't trying to be mysterious. Yes, Peter Pan was the ride and, even though I was right at the rope line, somehow I was beat by a mom and a couple of little kids  Harumph - if they could "out-walk" me, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn ...

Also, for the second time, when I went to the Alice ride next, it was not yet running. The delay was only a few minutes Monday, but was about a half hour on the earlier visit.

I actually did have to wait longer for the Matterhorn this time - at least partially, I'm sure, because of the Peter Pan delayed opening.

To add to my misery, (boo hoo!) Indiana Jones wasn't up and running for a couple of hours Monday.

line for Peter Pan before the ride even began to take on passengers:

I was surprised to see this example of poor maintenance at Peter Pan.
It's not that obvious in a photo, but John Darling (at left) has some sort of marking or fading in several places :

Only Fantasy Land and Tomorrow Land are open for MM. We usually go on Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Nemo, Dumbo and a few of the other kiddie rides.

Yeah I admit I was really confused when I read this. :rotfl:

Ok I read this when I was on the stepper at the gym this morning and almost fell off. TOO funny! :rotfl2:
