I booked the package for MM at 5:20 and was told that we should have plenty of time to make it to the Fantasmic show at 8:30. But I was also told it was on the opposite side of the park. I'm starting to get concerned that we'll be rushed and/or won't make it in time to have good seats (even though we'll be in the reserved area) since the 3 kids are young (8,4,2). I keep reading that you have to be hours early for Fantasmic.

Any thoughts? How long does it take to eat a leisurely meal at MM and make your way over to Fantasmic? How early do you have to be seated in the reserved area? Does the reserved area have a great view from all seats? Do they ever overbook so to speak the reserved area?

Thank you in advance DISers!

Hi Kate,

You'll have plenty of time.

The reserved area is sort of to one side of the theater, but it is closest to the entrance and exit, which can help.

Also from your ticker it looks like you will be going in September, so crowds will be lower that they will be during peak season.

Have fun!

Bob

They usually book ADRs for the package about 2 hours before the show. It's always been plenty of time for us.

You should get to the special entrance by 8:00p at the very latest (preferably 7:45p) and that still gives you 2 1/2 hours to eat and head over! That's A LOT of time!
