I am planning my first DLR trip after MANY to WDW. I am confused about the difference between MM and EMH. I understand that EMH is for onsite guests and MM is for offsite. But, we will be staying in a villa at DGC resort. If my hopper ticket has a MM added to it, can I use that and also use the EMH for onsite?

I guess I'm just curious if that gives me more flexibility for early entry or if the MM is irrelevant.

MM is irrelevant. You get in an hour early to one park or the other every day with your room key.

Guests staying at Villas Grand Californian receive the EMH benefit, like all onsite guests.

MM is irrelevant. You get in an hour early to one park or the other every day with your room key.

So are the MM guests at the other park, or are they combined? If so, does that mean I could get into either one on any given day? Or just on one of the days?

Magic Morning is only offered at DL on Tue, Thurs and Sat (same time as EMH). DL EMH will overlap with MM. DCA EMH is for hotel guests only on (typically) Sun, Mon, Wed and Fri.
So having MM on your ticket is a moot point since you are already eligible for the extra hour with your hotel room key.

Thank you for all the clarification. I get it now.
