MM Activation

So I preordered my memory maker over the weekend like I always do to save a few bucks. It looks like they've changed the way it works in the app since we went the last time and I'm curious when I should "activate it". Right now it shows up under the photopass tab and says "do you want to activate memory maker now?" I'm assuming I don't want to activate it until a couple days before we go, but I want to make sure.

How did you purchase it? Did you add it to your resort package or buy it al carte online. Unless you bought it over the phone or in the parks you don't need to activate it.

You are just looking in the wrong place. Go to the Disney World home page. Sign in. Then go to reservations and tickets. On that page you will see your resort reservation, dining, FP, etc. scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and you will see your MM. This means it's linked and ready for use.

Now if you did order it over the phone as an al crate purchase, simply put in the confirmation number after you click on the "link a mm button".

MM is like a voucher with no start date until you take your first photo.

I bought it separately on line. It does show under my reservations as well, just thought it was weird that it shows under the photopass tab and asks me if I want to activate.

mine says the same thing... its fine on the mydisney exp though.. will I be able to see pics on my phone when at the park? we are leaving in a week for disney
