Does anyone know how the crowds are on MLK Jr weekend.

We are going to be there that weekend. Actually the 15-24th. I have heard that Sat., Sun., and Mon. are a little busy. We are planning our days away from the park for that weekend, so we will miss any crowds.

It was very cold during that weekend which kept most of the locals in. We got early and braved to cold weather and it was the best trip we have ever made. We have been 9 times with number 10 in Jan. Just wear layers so you can peal as the day warms up. It was unseasonably cold last MLK. The only time we were really cold was in the mornings waitng for the buses at CSR. The benches are concrete not very good heat conductors.
