MLK 2010 crowds

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi have just booked my disney holiday for 2 weeks 18 Jan - 1 Feb 2010.
I booked these dates thinking the crowds would be very low but after reading several threads I am concerned I might have booked the wrong dates.
As I am from UK I do not know a great deal about this day and wondered do people forom US celebrate this day for a day or a week.
I know MLK day is 18 Jan 2010 but I will not arrive until later in the day so am not bothered about that day just the rest of the dates.
Please can anyone put my mind at rest.

It should be very quiet for you :goodvibes I did Jan 3rd-18th last year and it was very quiet - even with marathon weekend. It was only busy 3-6th Jan with xmas/new year crowds.

You will have a great time - don't worry :thumbsup2

We've been there for MLK day this year and were at Universal last year. t is slightly busier than the others days around it, but nothing to worry about. I'd suggest checking out TourGuide Mike for the best parks though.
The thing that we did notice this year was that there were an awful lot of groups of South American school children in big groups (school trips). If you see those around, make sure you overtake on the way to an attraction or just head in the opposite direction.
