MLB v TPA

Helping some relatives research tickets for a trip and trying to decide between Melbourne or Tampa airports. I've never flown into either. Timewise on mapquest the drive looks to be similar from each. The MLB flight would not get in until after 10pm and that concerns me with regards to rental cars. Not sure how small the airport is and if the rental car place might close early. The MLB flight is cheaper than the TPA flight.

Anybody have experience with the MLB airport? How is the drive from there to Disney?

I have flown into both. They are both good airports. MLB is definitely much quieter and easier to navigate. I would think that rental cars would be available at that arrival time, but you should check with them directly. The traffic around TPA is a little more hairy, and I-4 to WDW can be quite busy depending on the time of day, IMO. If all factors were pretty much the same, I would choose MLB.
